Today I am on a roadtrip for Gazpacho fixings.
Smith Farms is the go to place for bulk heirloom tomtoes for my annual tradition of making 10 gallons of Italian Tomato Meat Sauce. The variety of heirlooms gives it an awesome color and even better flavor.
You can usually pick up a 20lb box for around $20 which is a screaming deal.

Smith Family Farms is open nearly year round, from about March to Christmas time. From the pumpkin patch they do at Halloween time, to their Christmas trees, they truly are a family farm. But the best thing at Smith Family Farms is by far the tomatoes! Smith Family Farms has over 35 different kinds of tomatoes. They have the best taste ever. If you go there during the day you can get seconds for as low as $6/box (25 pounds!), there is no better value! They also have seasonal produce too numerous to mention and it is all wonderful

PROS: Healthy Produce at Rock Bottom Prices!
CONS:

Great place to buy fresh picked fruits and vegetables. Quality is always #1. They have the best Heirloom tomatoes! Fruitstand and Farm is picture perfect. Old fashion farm feeling. Everyone is so friendly and it is always kept so neat and clean. Great place to take children. We highly recommend it. Everything is grown right there!

PROS: Prices are lower than grocery store and quality is much better.

This is a great farm where the whole family can go to pick fresh fruits and vegetables right from the field. In October, they have a pumpkin harvest where they charge for admission to their fall activities including picking pumpkins, hayrides, live entertainment in their barn, petting farm animals, a corn maze and a sunflower forest.
