Are you open on the weekends or not?!?! went twice and no one there; in fact, the gate was locked. Called today to be sure someone would be there... guess what?, nobody's there!

I like the facility, and the staff really is very nice, but what good is it if you're not open when you say you will be. It's on the answering machine and written on the card at the door. If this problem didn't exist I'd rate it a 4 star, no doubt!

You guys have got to get it together or you will be history. And that is not good for anybody.

Hope someone's listening.

Pluses: Has some really excellent teachers (David, Riall, Rich, Adam) and a convenient location.

Minuses: Lessons are expensive, administration is disorganized and inflexible, place is messy. Poor customer service/high client turnover. Best for older children/adults, though some coaches are very good with younger kids (i.e. follow PCA guidelines, use positive motivation, etc.) Offsite child supervision can be sketchy. Ask around.

I love hitting the batting cages over at Play Makers Athletic. Good, clean facility. Helpful staff as well. You can also get lessons, etc. Good place to bring your aspiring baseball player, or just let off some steam.

My son has been playing baseball since he was 7 years old. I come here with him to get extra practice on the batting cages. This is probably the best batting cages there is in the bay area. It's expensive but worth it.
