Went there for 1/2 price sushi last night and it didn't taste so great. Not sure I will return...you would think for a seafood restaurant their sushi would be better.

This place has the best sushi dish in the world...namely, their "Super Crunch". When I first had it, I almost passed out it was so damned good!

Their food in general is very good...although I'll bet that they've been hit hard lately because they're an upscale ($) restaurant. If you have the money, go!

It was my job to find a restaurant for a family

Get together.unfortunately i made the mistake of

Choosing this place.we had reservations and were

Sat down promptly but it was 15 minutes

Before anyone even aknowleged us,our food

Took forever to arrive and was not well

Seasoned,rather bland.very difficult to get

Drink refills and when the bill came i thought

We were going to have to wash the dishes

Not worth the money, will not be back.

Was there for lunch on a weekday, and despite being mostly empty, service was very slow. My wife ordered a fish entree and asked if she could substitute the salad for the normal side orders. After much discussion, our waitress returned and said that would be OK and we placed our order. After a long wait, my blackened salmon sandwich was very oily and not very blackened, and my wife said that her entree was just OK. However, the real shock came when we received the bill, where I saw $24 for my wife's fish and $7 for her salad after being told that a substitution was OK (remember that these are LUNCH prices, not dinner). I went to speak with the manager about this, and rather than attempting to make this right, he was nothing short of rude. If you're looking for good seafood and professional service at reasonable prices, pass this restaurant by.

My family took me out for Mother's Day and we had the most amazing seafood. My husband had the blackened mahi with fried oysters and loved it. My daughter and I split the halibut with heart of palm salad and almost ordered another to split. Instead we got the tiramisu trifle for dessert. The service was friendly and the food was great. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant has really gone downhill. Several times over the past few years, since the restaurant opened, we have been able to get relatively good service and sea food, however last night was a very poor experience and a birthday celebration at that. The waiter was mediocre, water, coffee etc. not refilled, however the worst was the manager, who was very rude and short in defense of his chef. The oysters literally came out the size of almonds (no kidding) which we refused and they did take off the bill, the tuna au Poivre was cold and there was a drop of sauce on the steak, the grilled lobster was uncooked and when returned was mushy (like they heated it in water) and when we asked to speak to the manager on duty, Ross Coleman, well he was just rude, cold, and indifferent.. NEVER AGAIN! The price is too expensive for poor food and poor service.

Based on a few visits this appears to be the best and largest selection of seafood in Alpharetta. Food here can be hit or miss although it mostly hits or comes close to the mark. The service is consistently positive. If you have not tried this restaurant, please do.

While Atlanta has been developing around the city such as Buckhead and Midtown, Atlantic Seafood Company is too far for me. I love seafood, and ASC has definitely satisfied my desire for that. They have great service and the atmosphere is great. I will definitely return here.

I dined there last Saturday and they were packed. I waited an hour for my table and it was certainly worth the wait. We started out with mussels in a chipotle broth and they were amazing! My wife had the soy honey glazed sea bass and I had the grouper special. Both dishes were out of this world and I love how you can see the fresh fish when you walk in. I would definitely recommend this place, it was the best seafood I have had in Atlanta!

Service is good however the portion and price is terrible. High price for small portion size. The food is good, but not really worth the cost, especially for lunch. I am generally more pleased overall with the dinner menu and dinner portion sizes.

I dined at ASC mid-October 2007 while in the ATL on business. Had dined there previously about 4 years ago. Overall, ASC seemed to have slipped a few notches in the areas that made it such a nice place before - ambiance, food quality, and classiness. The food was still pretty good, even for the price, but we could have been at a Shoney's for the all the class and ambiance ASC has now. The front entrance smelled very fishy - not a good thing since that's the sushi bar! We had the scallops, trout, and salmon in our party of 3. All were good, although the portions were not huge. The side dishes were just as interesting as the entrees, but the quality was a little less than expected.

Maybe the telling point for me was when we ate there several years ago, the fancy cars parked just outside the front door by the valets were a nice Mercedes and Porsche. Recently, the lone "trophy" car was a yellow Mustang!

My wife and I ate at ASC two days ago and are still are having a hard time shaking that feeling that we just got taken for a ride. The restaurant has the potential to be a great spot, and the decor is nice as well. The problem is they charge premium prices for mediocre food. The service was not bad, but not great. For a $100 meal, I was highly disappointed with the quality of the food. There are better seafood places for 1/4 the price, you just don't get the stuffy atmosphere to go along.

The two things I like best about Atlantic Seafood are the selection and the initial presentation of the fresh fish. Presentation first. As you walk to your table you pass a glass case displaying today's 'catch'. It's an impressive array of very fresh looking seafood. And then there's the selection. Atlantic Seafood flies unique and special seafood in from all over the country every day. On my last visit the daily special was a wild salmon from Alaska that was only available a few weeks of the year. It was a special, albeit somewhat expensive at $29, treat.

Atlantic Seafood Company has some of the best seafood in the area. Every dish is perfectly prepared with the freshest of seafood, making each meal a great experience. The prices of every meal are a bit high, but it's more than worth it for the food you get. The servers are friendly and helpful, and know all about the items on the menu. There is an excellent sushi bar, with the same great prices as the regular menu. Atlantic Seafood Company is great for small family, business, or social gatherings!

PROS: Knowledgable and friendly servers, exellent food, sushi bar.
CONS: Prices may be too high for some

Of all the times I dine here, 90% has been for lunch. Less crowded and better service offer a more desirable dining experience. Everything I've had here, from sushi to their specials, has been promptly served and delicious. Limited wine list, but with good selections, it's unfortunate that more aren't offerred by the glass.

In perusing the reviews, I expected fair service and long lines but good food. So, we tried it tonight (Monday). We got a reservation for the time we requested, were seated easily, and served immediately. Our server (Calvin, I think) was fabulous- knowledgable, witty, patient, with just the right amount of attentiveness. I had the Sashimi A plate ($25) - approx. 18 (?) pieces of the freshest raw fish this side of Japan. It did not look like a lot but it was very satisfying. We also had an Atlantic salmon special and wood-grilled Mountain Brook Trout. Place was noisy but we soon did not notice - good wine, great food, and fun company added up to a memorable evening!

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The service was incredible from start to finish. The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. My waiter approached me and called me by name. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, extremely friendly, and professional. The food was incredible! I had the peppercorn crusted ahi tuna in the congac cream sauce. I wish I was in town longer so I could enjoy this resaurant again!

My wife and I dined here in late December on a Thursday eve. "Packed in there" is how I would describe the tables, thus creating a very noisy atmosphere.
The servers and bus-staff all wear the same uniforms. You think there are lots of servers, but there really arent.
After waiting about 5 minutes, one server-type told us that even though he wasn't our server, he would go ahead and get our water.
When our server finally did arrive, he took our drink, appetizer, and meal choices right then. After about 10 more minutes, I finally stopped someone and asked them for some of the bread everyone else had.
Our appetizer was delicious (buffalo shrimp), and our meal, when it finally came about 30 minutes later, was good too.
All in all, the food is good, but the service and the ambience could use a lot of work.

The outside appearance can really fool you. I thought that this place was nothing more than a Red Lobster. Once inside, the ambience, lights and decor, you know for sure that it isn't. This had to be the freshest red snapper on the planet. The spinach was tender and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place for all seafood lovers.

Coming from the California coast, I worried that the sushi here would not be edible. I have eaten frozen sushi at other establishments, but this is the first place that had GREAT quality, and the sushi chef is a star! We go there frequently. The shrimp tempura roll is delicious, and so is the albacore and seaweed salad. Mmmm.

As for the regular restaurant, the entrees are nice. I enjoyed the crabcakes, and the shoestring potatoes are perfect.

The waitstaff have been excellent and newbies. Depends on who you get, I guess.

My wife and I had the experience of an excellent meal ruined by poor service. Drinks never came, appetizer forgotten, long wait for refill of water glasses. The waiters seemed understaffed and under-trained. I mentioned the problem to the manager upon leaving (first telling him the food was wonderful) and he seemed uninterested.
We went back one month later and THE SAME THING - great food and terrible service! The waiter seemed frazzled and didn't even know what a Kirin Ichiban or Asahi (common brands of Japanese beer) were.

This huge establishment evokes the sea from its roofline, which suggests the ocean's movement with its frozen-in-time wave lines. The interior's color palette fixates on seafoam green and periwinkle blue. At the entry, a guest waiting area…
