I have had three alarms installed in diffrent cars all from the Specialists. I also have had 4 stereo systems installed there over the years as well. , most recently 12/3/2010 I had a pioneer unit installed, was told it was 150.00 and then the final bill was 500.00 they inspected the car and job before beginning, Buyer BEWARE, get your estimate in writing, Stero Pad down the street is honest and will not UPSALE you or CHARGE you 3 x the estimate to install if you bring them your own equipment, even BestBuy is a better choice that this overpriced, stereo botique, price is important, quality is expected , INTEGRITY is Absent, I am the customer tell me its 500.00 ok no problem, call me and tell me its gonna be more, but DONT tell me its 150.00 and then charge me 500.00 and make me feel like a 2nd class citizen for asking you to HONOR your estimate, SPEEDWAY Location, STAY VERY FAR AWAY, disappointed and now exspecialist customer

I had my Chrysler 300 tinted 2 days ago; it looks great so far, but I guess only time will tell how the quality turns out. The store I used was the one on Automall; Luis walked us through the options, and provided excellent customer service, to be honest. I would definitely recommend their service; we are going back shortly to get the Audi Q5 done.

I wanted to do something different for mother??s day and we have a 2000 Honda CIVIC. The speakers were blown out so I went to the Specialist to get new ones. Jason is the guy that took care of me and he gave a few options from a whole new stereo with speakers to just the speakers. Jason knows this is not a new car but my wife likes the car so, I decided to get an inexpensive XM, new speakers with the old stereo and window tint. The stereo sounded great and the tint made a big difference on how cool the car is. I have to say I didn??t think the XM thing was a big deal. Not so I have given my wife some great gifts over the years but it was so funny how she goes on and on about how much she loves the new XM, I would highly recommend the Specialist and Jason.

I usually never write any sort of reviews but I thought this needs attention. I got a tint job on my late model Honda accord at The Specialist, I chose the Formula one classic, the car was done in 1.5 hours, and I was excited to get it back until I found all the defects in the tint. Second visit back I was told its normal and if it doesn?t cure they can fix it with heat gun. The tint had small moisture on the rear window that progressively got worse everyday. It was to a point that I couldn?t even see out of the tint out of the rear window at the top. After my third visit they decided to use a heat gun, this messed up my film. To make this story short, after numerous trips and getting the run around I was not happy with this, and decided to take the tint off, I told them to just take it off. The store that put the tint wanted to charge me to take the tint off. They wanted to charge me to put my car back to original condition with no tint. The managers at the stores are very rude. I called the general manager and he was at a different store and he told me to bring it over. When I got there he pretended that the numerous defects were normal but he agreed to remove it. We made a scheduled date to remove it, I asked him what dates would work and we agreed on a date (wed, 10:30 am). The date of my appointment to get it removed was today (april 28 2010) and I was happy to put this aside and just get it removed. But again when I showed up the sales associates recognized me but were clueless, one said are you sure it was today because they are back up with 4 tint jobs, are you sure it wasn?t the other store? I waited 20 minutes... I grabbed my keys and left... I am now waiting for the general manager to call me back and the store owner is ?out of town?. I am out the money for the tint, my beautiful car looks awful with the tint, and I am not upset with losing the money but giving my money in supporting this kind of awful service. Once they get your money its downhill from there. It?s amazing how they get away with all of this, they price discriminate everyone that walks in (I got two different price quotes for tint from different locations) and they have the worst customer service (they actually have none) they don?t have a return policy; they will only ?exchange? products. Please don?t support this kind of service. I hope this helped someone in making a decision.

The Specialists began in 1976 as a single store in Tucson, Arizona called Auto Stereo Specialists with three employees. Our emphasis even then was a passion for quality installation and top-notch products. AM radios, CB/Cassette combo units and Jensen Tri-Axials were all the rage. Fast forward to 1986 when the Specialists, Inc. was spun from the original company to become the premier destination for award-winning sound systems drawing customers form Texas, Southern California, and even deep into Mexico. A second store, then a third, fourth, and fifth were added as the company grew always adhering to the culture of quality products, flawless installation and relentless customer service. Over the years, the Specialists have been honored by trade publications, manufacturers, civic organizations and charities.
