I have used this "venue" numerous times over the past 6 or 7 years -- initially because I needed a CT scan *IMMEDIATELY*. They got me in the very next day. The longest I've ever had to wait was 2 or 3 days for an MRI w/contrast. During this entire time I've only had 2 unpleasant sessions. The first time was a few years ago, with a rather "grumpy" technician who was really hard on me because I couldn't lie perfectly still... basically, if I remember correctly, she may have actually sent me home & told me to come back when I could lie completely still.

I have a real difficult time lying "perfectly" still because of some nasty tears in some vertebrae, & a couple of tendons & ligaments. A month or two ago, I had another really impossible session, but without "flack" from the tech. We both agreed that I should try again in a day or so. When I returned, it was after taking an excellent muscle relaxant! The tech was quite pleased -- she commented "I don't know what you took, but it really worked well (& yes, I will definitely keep that in mind next time, etc.)

A month or so ago, I encountered an assistant (who helped to get me "set up" for the scan) who was quite rude/unpleasant because I was late, even though she knew it was unavoidable,
so I made sure that she wasn't going to be there when I returned for the next one.

CA Advanced Imaging is currently trying to extort money from me for services that they were paid for at their contracted network rate for. CA Advanced Imaging claims they canceled their contract with my insurance company mid-year. However, I've verified with other providers with similar contracts that these contracts are not cancel-able mid-year. After verifying with my insurance company that the contract was in force, I asked in writing for an affidavit from CA Advanced Imaging stating that the contract was canceled. All I received from CA Advanced Imaging after this request is another bill threating the matter will be turned over to collection.

Unless you are either willing to pay money you don't owe or spend countless hours fighting this extortion, find another provider. And don't think this an isolated case. CA Advanced Imaging told me there are literally thousands of people of they harassing in this manner over insurance disputes.

I have had to use this facility 2 times in the past couple of years. They are excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and the facility spotless and clean. If you are in need of MRI's this is a great place to go.
