About four years ago, we brought our cars here after a questionable experience with Christian Brothers Automotive. Joe and Kenny are very knowledgeable and we trust them very much. They are honest and don't try to oversell you. We have two old cars, one with nearly 200k and one with a little over 100k. I would recommend them.

Fenski??s was a great auto repair shop at one time. They had dependable honest mechanics that really met your expectations. Now they have used their good reputation to get a lot of business and it seems like they are hiring mechanics off the street with very little training and trying to train them in-house. They had been doing all my work on 4 autos for the past three years until recently.

After paying almost a hundred dollars for an oil change and their 47 point inspection my Service Engine Soon light came on after about 15 miles of driving.

While trying to determine the reason for the engine service light, I noticed that the fluid levels had not been checked and a couple of fluid levels were low. They had not used the proper procedures while disconnecting the battery which allowed the on board computers to lose memory. They didn??t even take the time to reset the Change Engine Oil light.

At $100.00 per hour shop labor rate you would expect to get an ASE certified mechanic to work on your car.

Curtis, I'm not sure how long it's been since you have been in, but I have been with Fenski since Feb. of this year and would like to invite you back for another try! All of our technicians are industry certified and we have two of the best diagnostic technicians I have ever seen in the industry. I am truly sorry we let you down on your last visit and would like the oppourtunity to make it up to you. Contact me at the shop I'd like to learn more so I can adjust our policies and proceedures to make sure this doesn't happen again Sincerely, Matthew Fisher Operations Manager

I've been going to Fenski's for three years now. They take care of my four cars. Kenny is great to work with, honest and on time. Several times I've gone in thinking I had a Big problem with my car - they told me a simple solution when they could of really taken advantage of me as other car places have! I wouldn't go any where else.

I just moved to Suwanee from NJ and took my car here because it was local so I wouldn't get lost. I had a loud noise that changed pitch along with the revs of the motor and a small leak from the transmission. A fellow named Joe diagnosed the noise as a worn out alternator and replaced it. The leak I was told was expensive to fix and since I had over 100k miles on the car it was not worth fixing and he sold me some trans. fluid which I feed it periodically.
I felt (for the first time in years) that I had found an honest place to deal with. I plan to return there the next time I need service.

I brought my vehicle in for service as it had trouble starting. Fenski completed a tune up on the truck and talked me into a 90,000 mile service. My vehicle still had trouble starting after the service and I brought the vehicle back. Another service company told me I had a bad fuel pump, but I could turn the key a few times as a temporary fix until I could change the fuel pump. Lately, my truck began to skip as if it had a bad spark plug. I was told , by Fenski, that it had a bad ignition coil. Mr. Fenski said that was part of the 90,000 mile service and I said why didn't you tell me when you performed the service? His assistant insisted that he did tell me which is not true nor is this indicated on my receipt. I was told since I called them liars to come face to face for a resolution. They have lost my trust and I went to Christian Brothers for the repair. I would not recommend Fenski Automative Center.

Dan, Your experience with Fenski is not typical and we have since instituted new policies that will prevent this from happening again. Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention so that we were able to prevent it in the future. I would appreciate the oppourtunity in the future to regain your trust and prove to you what Fenski Automotive is really about. There is a reason we have been voted "Best Auto Mechanic of Gwinnett" for 7 years and I'd like another chance to show you. Sincerely, Matthew Fisher Ops. Manager

My family has used Joe Fenski for our automotive services and repairs for 6-7 years. He was referred to us by a neighbor, who also uses him, when he was operating as "On The Spot Automotive" and would service our vehicles at our homes. Joe has always performed top notch service and gone beyond the call of duty when we had an emergency situation and needed some repairs done quickly. It's hard to trust a mechanic sometimes, but they don't come any more honest than Joe in his evaluations and recommendations. I highly recommend him for any of your automotive services.

PROS: Honest, professional, knowledgeable, fair, dedicated, and dependable.
CONS: NONE
