The worst experience I've ever had!! Beware!! This place is very unprofessional. I should of known when they asked if I'd like to pay upfront for services. The hair dresser Virginia ,(very over weight) had a bad attitude from the beginning, I would of declined her services but I bought a $300 spa package.
This lady left me waiting on her 15 min. in the lobby and then another 15 min. in the chair (she had to finish her lunch).
It started with the shampoo, scalding me with hot the water as she washed my hair. Then for the hair cut, she preceded to tell me how much to cut off my hair, I said no. Shen then got her attitude. Brushing my hair like she was trying to rip it out during a blowout, using the wrong kind of brush( cheap all plastic brush). Five minutes into it I was tender headed and told her that the dryer was to close to my scalp and she was burning my scalp with it. She then threw her brush down at her station and walked away.Customer service, manager, and owner still haven't called to ask what happened. All I can say is save yourself the trip, this was ultimately the worst salon in Mobile, AL.

I would not recommend this salon to a family member, friend, or arch enemy. No one deserves to suffer this kind of beauty trauma.
I recently moved to the Eastern Shore and went to Nouveau because of its convenient location. I have had my hair cut and styled as well as my eyebrows waxed and this salon and both experiences were horrifying.
First, this is a salon that spends more time on styling than cutting. While I walked out of the salon thinking I was at least appeased, I was horrified the next morning when I washed and blow dried my hair myself. The ends were shaggy and it looked like I had a beauty school drop out cut my hair. It was completely unacceptable, I could have done better myself, blindfolded. It was so bad I didn't even want to give her a chance to fix my hair as I was worried it would look even worse. My only saving grace was I did not let them do my color. Which brings me to another warning. They will tell you they use a certain color line but they only use Goldwell. My stylist informed me that they tell people they use other lines such as Aveda, Wella, and Redkin, but really they have a conversion chart that they use to try to get the "Wella color." I can stated that I was told they were a Wella Salon. Apparently, they only sell the shampoo and do not use the color.
Lastly, I had my eyebrows waxed. While I insisted I simply wanted them shaped up the woman argued with me about my brow shape. To make it worse, when I asked her just to clean them up, she proceeded to do what she wanted to do rather than what I requested. She removed half of my eyebrow and only left eyebrow around the center of my face. I no longer had arches or real eyebrows. I have been drawing them on for 8 weeks to date, attempting to let them grow in.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THIS SALON SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I have never known anyone who was happy with the experience. Additionally, they allow massage therapists to perform waxing as they have difficulty retaining their staff.

Please do note my experiences with Nouveau have only been at the Eastern Shore location in Spanish Fort. I do not know if their other locations are better, but I do know that Nouveau is the worst salon experience I have ever had.

Talk about a lack of qualification. Surely this must violate some beauty standard.
