Based on the other reviews, I started seeing Dr. Hagler with high hopes. Found him to be a very likable individual, and have no real reason to doubt his medical skills, though my appointments with him were limited because of the overall shortcomings. Waiting room is teeny and dingy; complicated by the smokers that pursue their habit right outside the front door so when it opens, smoke wafts into the waiting room. Receptionists area looks like it was hit by a tornado -- wonder how anything can be found. On each of the several occasions when I had appointments with Dr. Hagler, I didn't actually see him until 2 hours after my appointment time. Before my last appointment with him, I sent him a letter asking if this long of a time before seeing him was normal, because if so, please let me know so I could make other arrangements. No one in his office even made mention of the letter, and at my subsequent appointment, I was again kept waiting two full hours before he came into the room. Having had enough, I went back to request a copy of my records so I could find another doctor. On this occasion, the receptionist continued answering phone lines and working on paper for 20 minutes before even acknowledging my presence. Time, to me, is not a luxury to be squandered in such a fashion. I've always believed that if I have an appointment with someone, that is an appointment for both of us. Unfortunately, Dr. Hagler doesn't seem to feel that way. Have since found another doctor who is more attuned to treating patients like people instead of cattle.

I started going to Dr. Hagler almost 2 years ago after getting so upset after the doctor I was using seemed to take so long to get in and after getting in feeling like I was being rushed out. Dr. Hagler is a very caring doctor and spends as much time as needed with you and doesn't waste any time sending you to a specialist if needed. He and his staff have been a life saver to me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to find a doctor who really does care about his patients.

My entire family recently began seeing Dr. Hagler, all switching from our previous physicians for various reasons - and we all love him. He is extremely thorough, personable without being invasive, comfortable, and very up to date. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new physician!
