Happy at the Vet
by Carmela M.
My pet saw Dr. English at St. Johns Veterinary Clinic today. She spent a lot of time with us and explained everything she did in the exam. I am so happy to find this wonderful hospital and Dr. English.

my sick kitty
by deanna p.
I have a older cat that is in renal failure.I take her to a vet in orange park.It is a very long drive and I was unable to get her food when I ran out.I called and talked to one of the techs in the pet store and she was willing to help me meet my cats needs.I called several places in the local area and they were not able to let me have the food she needed.I am so pleased that I have found a vets office that's not in it for the money .they are in it for the animal.I would like to thank you for being here for her.

Very Professional
by Riberta H.
From the minute I walked in I knew I'd found just the right hospital. I had visited most clinics in St. Augustine shopping for a vet since I am new to the area. My dog was seem by Dr. Deckard and loved her right away. From the front desk staff to the pet shop, everyone was wonderful. I am so happy I took the time to shop around. Me and my pet have found the care we need at St. Johns Veterinary Clinic.

The Purrfect Clinic!
by robert g.
I have been taking my pet to this clinic for a few years now and they have been more than wonderful. Everytime something goes wrong I can trust that they will be there to take care of my baby. They have a great pet shop with wonderful staff who are more than willing to help me find what I need. My pet always feels right at home when we go.

Caring Doctors and Staff.
by Sam M.
I am new to the St.Augustine area and was fortunate to have found such a wonderful caring place to bring my animals. My poor beagle tangled with a snake and was bitten on the nose. From the moment I arrived the staff saw to immediate needs of my pet and were there to comfort and inform me through this emergency. The Doctors and staff were nothing short of outstanding and I will be bringing my other two pets to this fine Clinic for all of their medical care. I would recommend these professionals to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

The best by far...
by H M.
I have lived in St. Augustine most of my life and have brought my pets to different vet clinics. 2 years ago I discovered St. Johns Vet and haven't been anywhere else since. The facility is cleaner than I'd ever expect a place that has so many animals in and out all day to be. The staff is friendly and remembers me and my furry kids. They give 110% to make sure my pets have the best care possible. Not only are they a great clinic, they also have a boarding facility that the doctors and staff monitor to make sure everyone healthy and happy during their stay. After I've boarded my pets I can also choose the have them groomed or bathed. Unless I move, I'll continue going to St. Johns Vet Clinic. Thanks guys.

We boarded our dog for the first time ever and he fell in love with the staff at St. Johns Veterinary Clinic. He got to play in the afternoons and walked 4 times daily. I certainly would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Went to St.Augustine on vacation,my dog got sick. Asked a clerk at a local store where the best animal clinic was,and she told me St.Johns Vet.I just want everyone to know that I had a great experience there. The staff, doctors and care was outstanding,I only wish I had the same treatment at my home town vet.

The Best Clinic in town.
by Glen V.
St. Johns Veterinary Clinic is the best Veterinary Hospital I have ever been to. The staff is well trained and professional. The doctors really care about my animal and my well being. I wouldn't go to any other vet in St. Johns county.

1 mile or 30 miles?
by Jim H.
I have not lived in St. Augustine but for a few months. I went to this Vet one time to get my cat his shots. About one week ago my cat came inside at night and he was limping. I called this Vet even though it was late because I had been there before. Their answering service said to call a local Emergency Vet Clinic or call 2 other places more than 30 miles away. I called the local one about midnight or 12:30. I told the person who answered the phone about my cat limping. The person who answered the phone told me "everyone had just left" so there wasn't anybody there to see my cat. I told them that my vet said to call Animal Emergencyand Critical Care after regular hours to 'make arrangements' for someone to see my cat. They said said that no Doctors were there, and no one would be there until 8am the next morning. I figured I would have to drive to Jacksonville but theperson that answered the phone told me that there was another Emergency vet hospital that was open all night, about 1 mile down the road from them. Why would St Johns send people to Jacksonville 35 miles away (and gas is expensive) and not tell people about another closer place? I did go to that vet hospital called Animal Emergency Hospital of St John's and everything was fine with my Catman. They said he had a muscle sprain.
The more I thought about almost driving so far to Jacksonville because the answering machine doesn't give this vet hospital phone number the more irritated I got. I won't go back to St Johns vet hospital. If they dont know about the Animal Emergency Hospital of StJohns, theyshould. And if driving more than 30 miles with a really sick animal and gas costing so much makes more sense to them than driving 1 mile how should I beleive they will make the right decisions if my cat goes to them if its really sick?

I have been taking my pets to St. Johns Vet Clinic for the last 20 years. They have an excellent staff and truly care about the well fare of the animals. They also have a store located on the premises that have top of the line cat/dog food, shampoos, leashes, etc. Parking is slim, but you can usually get a spot.
