Preston Forest Village Animal Clinic

Our little dog had a cyst deep in her ear that could not be removed simply. Our vet at the time, and another veterinary surgeon, were concerned that it would keep growing. They both insisted that a full ablation was necessary, which would have resulted in a complete loss of hearing in the affected ear. I consulted Dr. Putnam, who very gently suggested a more conservative "let's wait and see" approach. Three years later, the cyst has actually reduced in size, and our now all of our pets are under his excellent care. The short version of this is: Dr. Putnam is a very honorable and insightful practitioner who genuinely puts the interests of his patients first. I wish there were more "people doctors" who were like him.

Dr. Putnam and his staff cared for our cat Antonia for years. Recently, at the age of 17 she passed away. I can't think of a more compassionate friend for our cat than Dr. Putnam and Pete, his head technician. They did everything they could to care for our little girl and when the time came to let her go, they were so very sympathetic and helpful. I have two new kittens now and the first call I made when they came home was to Dr. Putnam's office to get them under his care.

I would recommend Dr. Putnam and his staff to anyone who loves their pets! They are very gentle with the animals and provide exceptional care. No Complaints at all-

I am active in animal rescue and have taken many dogs to Dr. Larry Putnam along with several of my own dogs over the years. Dr. Putnam and his staff are not only the most knowledgeable professionals, but also treat each animal with extreme care and kindness. They take their time with each patient and will work on your animal as long as necessary to find the problem and come up with a solution. They are absolutely wonderful people! I also love the fact that if your animal needs surgery, Dr. Putnam can do it himself rather than have to refer you to someone else. I highly recommend this vet and staff!

My wife and I have four doggies, 3 Maltese and a Bichon that we love dearly. A Vet specialist recommended Dr Larry Putnam at Preston Forest Village Animal Clinic to us about five years ago. We are truly thankful for this recommendation as Dr Putnam with his many years of experience and his highly qualified staff has proven to be the best Vet we have found in the Dallas area. The personal care and attention given to our pets are simply second to none. Plus, his surgery clinic, specialized equipment and boarding facilities are far beyond anything you will find at a typical Veterinarian clinic. You will see what we are talking about if you drop by and ask for a tour of the clinic. You will surely be impressed.
