I was told that my job would take a day to two days. well, I waited 10 additional weeks after it took two days complete my refacing job. I was put off and other customers were put ahead of me. The problem was when my glass doors came in wrong, so Jeff told me he would return to fix the situation the following week. This was not the case. He cancelled my re-ordered doors, so I had to call and t inquire about the whereabouts of my glass doors. Then he ordered them again, as his wife had cancelled the order because she thought he fixed the temporary replacements. Due to a personal problem, I waited for him to get better to finish my kitchen. He had promised me when he got better, he would come over and finish the job at my convenience. This too was not the case. When he got better, he took on new clients and serviced them first. At my mistake, I had felt badly about all the work he did prior this problem, and he had promised he would return the following week. Because of this, I had paid him in full. Well, with several phone calls and emails, I had to take work time off just to get him to come and finish the job. My average size kitchen, which he had told me was a one day job, two at most, became a 10 week ordeal. Due to the fact he was going to throw away the temporary glass doors, he agreed to split the cost of the new doors. I agreed to this. He told me it wouldn't be near one hundred dollars, so I agreed to split the cost. When he finally arrived, he installed the doors inserted the glass in the other glass doors which were 10 weeks unfinished too due to his lack of organization. I had originally picked out the glass I wanted in the doors and even shown him I wanted the glass to match a china cabinet in my kitchen. I did not think this was professional or organized in conducting a business. I paid good money to have him reface my kitchen, and I had to go 10 weeks without glass in the doors. He made no sacrifices. I was the one who repeatedly had to be patient and accommodate him. After he left, I noticed he had taken two of my fully paid cabinet doors along with my money for the newly installed glass doors. We had agreed to split the cost as per his idea. I called him that same day and left a message on his cell phone and emailed his wife several times to get those solid wood doors returned as I had fully paid for them 10 weeks prior. After several emails, his wife Tammy finally responded and said she would stop by and drop them off within a week's time as she worked in my area. Four weeks later, I have not seen or heard from her or received my doors. I even offered to stop by and pick the doors up myself in Bonita. Once again, I was willing to work around them. I honestly do not think it is too much to ask for customer service. I was patient, understanding, and cooperative all the way through. Due to this service, I would not recommend them because this situation is unacceptable when running a business. I fulfilled my end of the contract, but they did not.
