Contrary to popular belief I'm no doctor, but I am a connoisseur of all things ice cream and milkshake related. I've spent 42 years of my life in the ice cream and milkshake business around this great country of ours. Everything from processing milk to serving a young lad his first ice cream cone. So needless to say I know a thing or two about the ice cream business.
I'm not sure how they do ice cream reviews in Newport News, Va, but down here in Alabama we take our ice cream reviews serious and don't much appreciate big city northerners coming down and making a mockery of our review system.
I for one have been a lifelong Smooochie's Homemade ice cream fan. And have always enjoyed the thickness and texture of their products. Whether it be ice cream or milkshake. Their staff is always courteous and cordial, best this side of the Mississippi anyways. FACT. And I can guarantee that the quality of their straws are flawless. So to conclude my Smooochies homemade ice cream review, I give them 5 out of 5 because they are indeed my friend world class.
Now on a personal note, I'm not sure who the heck you're referring to as "you people" but your fixin' to catch a lickin' slandering our good names like that. So the next time you decide to blaspheme someones way of life maybe you should take two steps back and just remember that the good lord hears all.

I will begin this by saying I have been spoiled by a good selection of Icecream shops near where I lived in Newport News, VA. So my opinion is relative to my experience with these locations. Also, I only order milkshakes. It doesn't matter where or what they offer I just like milkshakes so leave me alone about it.

Overall the experience of buying the icecream was what you might expect. I opened the door, asked for icecream, looked at the potential mix-ins, and ordered & paid for my milkshake. The crew was friendly and quite abundant for the relatively few customers so there was no line. Perhaps the cool kids don't eat icecream until late where they can take that gateway drug sugar and turn it into even worse things as the night progresses. Or maybe its because this is Enterprise, AL.

As far as specialization I guess it would just be "homemade" icecream so not much to say on that end. As far as the prices are concerned it is about what I expected given the location. I paid 3.86 for a large milkshake (including tax) and I threw in a dollar tip for the quick service with a smile.

Overall I found the icecream to be plain. Of the same quality of an Edy's that you could get buy one get one free (BOGO) at least one day a week at most grocery stores. The icecream lacked originality. This is difficult to explain but I'll say both Cold Stone and Maggie Moo's have icecream that posses textures unique to their own brands. Even compared against each other they are different. Smooochies just seems like plain old icecream, which isn't bad, but I've grown accustomed to the competition so I guess I yearn for something more, or different at least. However, given the selection in Enterprise, AL I would recommend this icecream to anyone not willing to go buy icecream and make their own milkshakes (or whatever else you people like). I would also have to say the quality of their straws irks me a bit. They were too narrow and flimsy for how thick the milkshake was. So kudos for thickness but none for straws.

Actually its just outside of the magnificent Coffee county courthouse so perhaps on your way to pay for a speeding ticket or if you aren't too confident about the upcoming verdict on your drug trafficking charges you could swing by and the sugar rush would brighten your mood. Ok so this is an icecream parlor review thats gotten out of hand. I hope it helped and didn't waste too, too much time.
