Took my pup to this vet yesterday for the first time. He has a yeast infection in his ears. I also told them I suspect a UTI. So this vet (he is the only vet that works there) shoves this thing in his ear, to look in it, so hard that my dog yelps. He proceeds to do it to the other side. Instead of explaining what he was doing, he gets a needle of something and shoves it into his hind leg where my dog starts whining very loud. Then my dog won't put his foot down and starts limping. Apparently it was an antibiotic shot for a UTI (which he didn't even check to see if he had - just gave it to him anyway). Then to give him a booster of a vaccine he had received a month ago, he grabs him scruff and shoves this needle in so hard it looked like it was going to poke through the other side. My dog let out a large scream and the vet laughed and said he needs to toughen up. It pissed me off. He started bleeding from the neck injection. I have never had a dog bleed from a vaccine or yelp from an injection. I will NEVER take him back there again. Reading the previous review, it seems this isn't the first time this vet has treated an animal roughly.

I heard this clinic was good from a friend of a friend, but after watching the way this guy kinked my cat's tail while taking a temperature reading, and making her cry out (which has never happened in any of my other vet's offices) I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone who had a choice to go elsewhere.

What really grossed me out is while he gave her a shot, she was crying again, and he made some comment like, "oh you know you like it," and even my friend who was with me said that was pretty disgusting. Just thought people should know.

When we were unable to find a vet to come to our Rescue site, to treat quarantined dogs, we were without hope. Without Dr. Farish, who often closed his office to come and minister to the 83 rescue dogs, they never would have made it. He also spent hours recertifying healthy dogs. He is down to earth Dr. with down to earth prices.

If you want a vet who won't empty your wallet and who loves animals, he is the one.
