We booked their restaurant for a party and it was horrible. Manager in charge of booking the restaurant for parties messed up our party date and didn't take any resposiblitiy for marking us down for the wrong date. He actually kept blaming us for it saying that that was the date we gave him. Which is not true. Also on the day of the party you would have to wait for the food to come out so that you could eat. The food trays were always empty and our guests had to literally wait for the food to be brought out before they could eat. Also the dance floor was taped up with gray tape and it just looked horrible. Other then this the food was good when the trays were full and we were able to grab some food.

Also he wouldn't let us use a ladder to plug in our lights for our decorations so we asked him if he could do it for us. He said sure, but when we walked into the party that night...the lights were not even plugged in, plus we wanted table cloths on our tables and he didn't even do that. He was always promising us things, but never followed through.

Some positive things about the restaurant:

Very nice looking restaurant.
Manager in charge during the day for buffets is a lot better and he seems to know how to provide good customer service, but the manager for the booking of the parties needs to learn a lot about customer service.
The food is pretty good.
Ras Malai is pretty good...that is if they serve you the good ras malai.

Would be a great restaurant if they changed their restaurant booking manager.

I had a horrible experience here at Sitar. The food is not too bad, but the service sucks. I ordered dessert and the waiters brought some day old stuff. When I talked to the owner about it, he says I put that one aside to throw away, but yet it was served to us. The owner of the restaurant needs to learn to run his business and cater to his customers. F --- (Taal Restaurant in Fullerton is a much better experience)

PROS: Food OK
CONS: Bad Service, Lousy Customer Service
