I absolutly LOVEEEE Bunn Animal Hospital! They have treated me and my two dogs amazing! When my dog was bit by a copperhead and his entire head was swollen twice the size of normal, I panicked, because I was in a financial bind until the following week. I call Bunn, was in tears and the last thing they were concerned about was money. They just told me to bring him in right away and we could work out payment later. When my dog was attacked by pit bulls, they were very concerned, not only calmed my dog, but my nerves as well!
My Lab is veryyy hyper and other vets seem to get irratated by his pulling on the leash, and trying to sniff out every dog in the waiting room. Not Dr. Nicki and her staff. They are always happy to see him, call him by name when he enters and us both feel right at home. I would not take either of my dogs to anywhere else! I have never seen a vet like them!

I think the person who was complaining about the blood work incident is completely over reacting. Just reading that review disturbed me because I've been taking my dog there since I adopted her when she was 8 weeks old and the service has been excellent! I've lived all over this country and this office is by far the best in regards to customer service.
Even when my dog had an accident where she impaled herself on a tree branch, they were more than willing to work with me immediately. They weren't concern about payment, they were more concern about my dog. After the successful surgery, they worked with me regarding payment. I never heard of a Vet office that did this. Because of that incident alone, I'm a loyal client for as long as I live in the area!

Ihad been going to Bunn Animal Hospital for about 2 years. I called to make arrangements to have some bloodwork done on my little dog. When I called I asked if Jennifer could take the blood in an exam room with me present. Normally this hospital takes the animal away from the owner to a back "treatment" room. The animal has no support with the owner being removed from my physical presence. I consider it cruel for both the animal and the owner to be separated--for no reason, especially when the patient is a 15yr.old mostly blind little dog. You don't take a child away from a parent and there is no reason to take an animal away for simple procedures such as bloodwork. When I called for the appointment, I specifically requested Lisa to ask Jennifer if she would take the blood in an exam room. Lisa called back to say she has spoken with Jennifer and there was no problem with my request. When the initial appointment was moved to 2 days later, I again confirmed with Lisa that Jennifer would draw the blood in an exam room with me in the room.
When I arrived at the hospital with my little dog, I was shown to an exam room. Jennifer appeared and said she would need to take my little dog "to the back." When I protested and requested the blood be drawn as promised, Jennifer said she would need to ask Dr. Nicki. Jennifer returned with the answer, "No, per Dr. Nicki."
She said she was caught in the middle and wanted to keep her job. I reluctantly agreed to let Jennifer take my baby because she said, "I PROMISE I will take the blood and you can see into the treatment room from the lobby. When I moved to the lobby, I saw Dr. Nicki Young. I asked her why there was a problem drawing blood with me present. With a puzzled look on her face, Dr. Nickii said, "there is no problem as long as it is done in an exam room."
When my little dog was finally brought back, Jennifer told me Dr, Davidson had drawn the blood. I had not been able to see the procedure as promised because my dog was take to "the xray room." Because I had been lied to so many times, I asked to see Dr. Davidson. When Dr. Davidson came into the room she said "If you don't trust us, you need to go elsewhere." I tried to explain it wasn't trust but wanting to support my dog that was the issue. It did not matter that Lisa had told me in 3 conversations that Jennifer would draw the blood in an exam room with me present. It did not matter that Jennifer told me the arrangement could not be forthcoming as ordered by Dr. Nicki when Dr. Nicki knew absolutely nothing about the situation. It did not matter Jennifer told me she would take the blood or that I would have visual access to what was going on--neither happened.
I would not recommend this practice because of their deceitfulness with clients. Apparently the staff can tell as many stories as they want, tell as many lies as they see fit--and the doctors just don't care. The relationship shared by client and veterinarian should be based on honesty. Trust comes from that honesty. But when the staff lies and the doctors don't care, it is time to find a more reputable practice. No veterinary practice has the right to prevent any client from supporting their animals. The first trait Bunn Animal Hospital practices is dishonesty!

So glad for an opportunity to sing the praises of the people at Bunn Animal Hospital. They have cared for our animals over the years which have so far totaled 8 dogs and 1 cat. They've three of our dogs through terminal illnesses with the most caring and compassionate attention. Both Dr. Young and Dr. Davidson are treasures in our little community. We are SO lucky to have them. I would recommend Bunn Animal Hospital to everyone. Even if you live closer to another Vet ... it is well worth the extra drive.

I can't say enough about Bunn Animal Hospital and their staff. Everyone there is friendly, outgoing and they really care about your pet. This isn't just a business for them. They are actually concerned about your pets' health and wellbeing. They are very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a new vet, you can't go wrong here. I just wish I'd found them sooner.

Relocating from another state and having to leave a wonderful vet, I was devastated when my Jack Russel became terminally ill .
Having no hope in replacing our previous wonderful vet, I, by accident, came upon Dr. Nikki and her staff in Bunn. That was a fortunate day in our lives as they stood by Nugget and me in a lovingly compassionate and hopeful way. She lived another year in comfort and gave me so much love and pleasure. I will always be grateful to Dr. Nikki and she will always be my vet! There are no words to describe the outstanding rating we give these folks!

We started using Bunn Animal Hospital a few months ago and have been amazed at the level of care that is not only given to our wonderful fur babies but also to us. Dr. Nikki Young and her staff truly go out of their way to make sure you have what is needed in order to care for your pet.
Both of our cats have recently been dx with cancer and we can't imagine taking them to any other vet. It's totally worth the hour drive it takes us to get to this clinic!

Bunn Animal Hospital is by far the best value in care and cost. We have a cat and dog both over thirteen years old, and without Bunn Animal Hospitals help we could not afford to maintain quality of life for our aging pets. Over the years we have tried many of the veterinary clinics in area all the way to Raleigh. I will not take any of my four animals any where else from now on. One would think you would get better service, care and price at a larger facility but the staff here in Bunn proves that wrong.

Pros: Convenient, efficient, quality care at right price

Cons: No Saturday hours, but worth working around

i love this clinic! the vet is wonderful, caring and very informative and demonstrated true compassion for my
kitty's sick leg. the receptionist Lisa is always nice, and very caring on the phone and in person - i have sat waiting to see the Dr and i saw her treat every person the same, being very sincere with each person. my kitty cat won't ever go anywhere but there. animals become a part of the family and we take our children or loved ones to the best Dr's and caregivers and that is how i feel about this office. we are very thankful for there kindness.

I had been going to a much "nicer" facility in Youngsville. While they were very good, the cost got to be prohibitive. I heard that Bunn, while in an older building was just as good. I love the Vet and her staff. They have a hilarious pet cat "Bob" that I look forward to seeing when I go. They were fantastic with my Pekingese dog and my Siamese cat. VERY friendly, very reasonable prices and I have yet to wait for anything.
