Expensive is one word that this restaurant is NOT. I have been eating here since it opened nearly 3 years ago. I actually eat at Fireside at least 4 times a month. It costs me usually under $15 for a pizza plus 1 beer. I brought in 5 others for dinner, and for 2 pitchers of sangria, a few beers, 2 appetizers and 4 pizzas, my total tab was under $100. Where can you get such good food for less than $20 per person and have leftovers to boot? This is in the top 5 for pizza in Dallas/Fort Worth. And honestly, the top 5 are a dead-even heat. You can get a traditional Margherita or a unique roasted balsamic chicken with arugula pizza. There are 3 beers on tap, including at least 1 rotating tap - switches on seasonal tastes.

If you are eating alone, one of the best things to get is a half-salad with chicken, sausage or whatever meat you like best, some fondue bread and your beverage of choice. If you are still hungry, close out your night with a slice of freshly baked cheesecake with vanilla and blackberries. Heck, get a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee for dinner instead! I've done that a few times.

You can make dinner at Fireside cost more than you want, but it is by no means expensive. For what you get as a whole, $10-20 for a massive meal is worth every bit. There's always leftovers for a 2nd meal.

PROS: Great service, fun atmosphere, creative pizzas, great drinks
CONS: My stomach isn't big enough for everything I'd want there

If you are rich and can afford it? Try this pizza restaraunt. This place has some of the most tastiest pizza that I have ever had. Yes, they are expensive though!

If you can handle the sometimes hour wait, then this place is your gourmet pizza stop.

The salad's are huge and I highly reccomend staring off with one (you could probably split it with three people).

Pizzas are large too, so you might not want to order a whole one and just go by the slice instead. You're going to want to save room for dessert because the homemade cheesecake is the best I've ever had.

FIRESIDE PIES
2820 N HENDERSON AVENUE, DALLAS, TX 75206
Phone: (214) 370-3916

Fireside Pies on Henderson Avenue is a fun trendy place to go have a drink, eat a pretty good slice of pizza and have a nice conversation. Fireside Pies is by far the nicest place that I have been to have some half way decent pepperoni pie. It is a fun atmosphere and the Fireside staff is great. You can have a whole pizza pie or your choice of pie by the slice. Fireside is not the best pizza that I have ever had, but it is by far the most expensive. If you are looking for something different to do before you go out, Fireside Pies is right up your alley. Its defiantly something you should try at least once.

PROS: A fun place to go
