I just brought my daughter in to have her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Stone. My daughter was very nervous. From the time that we walked in the door and greeted by the office staff till the time she went back to surgery, we felt totally at ease. The front desk was extremely nice and made my daughter feel less anxious. Dr. Stone was so good that my daughter didn't even know that the surgery was over. Thank you Dr. Stone and staff for a wonderful experience!

i called the office today and got an appointment right away. when i went to the office the front desk assisted me with all of my insurance information. they were so kind and even took the time to have a little chat with me. the office manager told me that the ploicy in the office is patient care comes first and boy was she right. the time and energy spent by the staff was extremely kind and considerate. the staff was cheerful happy and went over board. dr stone is a top notch surgeon!!!! not that we need oral surgery often, but I will recommend him for all of our surgical needs, for friends, family co workers etc. This office is the best oral surgery practice in south florida hands down!!!

The person I spoke with misrepresented my insurance. They would not listen to me. I revisited my medical situation last month. Called the office, they misrepresented my insurance again. I had a hunch that my insurance did cover me. So I had my insurance company call them. I called the office to ensure that everything was okay for an appointment. They said yes and that they would call me back. They did not. I called them back. The person told me that even though I had insurance I would have to pay $1200 cash. So I said okay. Then they asked me to hold. Transfered me to the office manager who told me that because I got into an disagreement earlier with someone in their office, I was not welcome there. (This was over a 3 week period). First, know your insurance if you insist on going to this doctor. Secondly, don't expect any of their staff to be upfront, effective or courteous. . If you don't believe me listen to others.

An all around awful office. From front desk shenanigans to questionable post operative care, just avoid!! There are other good ones in town!!! I would ask friends for refernces. I wish that I would have.

I recently called to reschedule an appointment for my daughter having wisdom tooth pain. The office personnel on the phone was extremely hostile. It was early on a Monday morning. She explained an insurance situation and I had to tell her to calm down, not be "huffy"... then she put someone else on the phone (office manager?) only to repeat what she was saying. I understood what was being said, however I could not get a word in to explain... insurance. The second woman immediately decided "we do not need to see your daughter here" and SHE HUNG UP!

I called an hour later to get the address, he has two offices. I wanted to get the correct location so I could write to the doctor. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and when she found out who I was -- went OFF like a dragon....

Unfortunately for this surgeon, I would not recommend this oral surgeon because of the dogs you would have to get through... to see him. They're bad for his business!

A friend recommended Dr. Stone to perform my 16 year old daughter's wisdom teeth extraction. I have mixed feelings about Dr. Stone's office. Our first visit was to the Pembroke Pines office. It was an out-of-date, run-down building that, though clean, seemed iffy at best. The office staff was extremely rude and abrupt. Dr. Stone, on the other hand, was so friendly and personable and explained the procedure in such length, we decided to use him. Fortunately he booked our appointment for the surgery in his Weston office. This office was much newer and brighter. Though the receptionist was even ruder than the first office, the rest of his staff was very warm and friendly. Dr. Stone performed the surgery, took the time over the following weekend to call and check on my daughter twice, and then saw her for three additional follow-up appointments. When infection set in, he saw my daughter immediately and had her feeling better within minutes. He is a first class oral surgeon! One complaint that I have not yet had resolved is an overcharge by his office. I paid the full amount up front, and was told once insurance paid, I would receive a refund. Even though my insurance company (Tri-Care) warned me not to pay a dime over what Tri-Care authorized as being charged, I trusted the Dr.'s office to know what they were doing. Well, I ended up overpaying about $100 of which I'll probably never see again. Other than that, though, I recommend Dr. Stone (as long as you use his Weston office)!! I would rate Dr. Stone himself a 5-star, however his front office staff and his billing department bring him down to a 3-star level.
