This was truly a family friendly atmosphere. My children could ride just about any ride and experience all the entertainment. This park was clean, friendly staff and sooooo accommodating. Free strollers, you can bring your own lunch in and cozy quiet spaces for sleepy children or nursing infants. There was even a place you could keep your pets if you were traveling with them! The cost was so reasonable it was shocking! We spent the entire day and the kids keep asking when are we going back!

we went here last summer for the first time. we had the best time. the park was easy to navigate, enough to do so the kids weren't bored, but not as overwhelming as funtown. the prices weren't bad. the park was clean and i would definately come back here again!

Story Land is just incredible. It is always expanding, and they add something new every year. I look forward to going back just to see what they added. The newest is a barnyard themed area, which includes the Crazy Barn ride and a tractor ride that takes you right through a real garden, which my nephew is just in love with. They also moved the Farm Follies Theatre from its former location into a bran new air conditioned theatre in this branyard area. It's definitely a great show for kids of all ages, and the air conditioning goes a long way when its 90 degrees.

I go to Story Land several times a summer, and I am never disappointed. There are great rides for the older kids (Mom and Dad too) such as the raft ride and the polar coaster, and some great rides for the younger ones like the carousel, swan boats, and pirate ship. There is a even a pumpkin coach that takes you up to Cinderella's Castle, which is truly amazing.

Story Land is a place where Mom, Dad, Gram, and Gramps, can take the children and have a blast.

Storyland is a great place for children of all ages. This amusement park has been open for many years as my family shared memories there as well. Now my husband and I have the opportunity to share this place with our children and its just wonderful to have past memories as well as beginning new ones with our own.

Story Land contains 16 rides and 4 shows that will appeal to a wide variety of ages. I would not - however - recommend this as a park for a family of teens. While a teen might get a kick out of being here with a younger brother or sister, chances are they will be uncomfortable otherwise.

The theme at Story Land is all the stories we have known since we were children: Mother Goose, The Woman Who Lives In A Shoe, The Three Bears, Little Miss Muffet, Baa-Baa-Black Sheep, Mary Had A Little Lamb, The Three Little Pigs, Peter Rabbit, and a whole bunch more. There are a wide variety of themed walk-through areas that are not rides or attractions that follow these various themes. I remember The Woman Who Lives In A Show from when I was little in particular. There's a "tuffet" to sit on and get a surprise.

There is a wide variety of food available in the parks. Some of it is typical theme-park style: hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, tacos. There was also a baked potato place (which I liked a lot), peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, as well as salads. There were snacks such as popcorn and ice cream available, as well as healthy snacks such as baby carrots. I found the food prices to be fairly reasonable. However, you are allowed to bring food into the park. There is also a picnic area outside of the gate in case you don't want to lug a cooler through the park with you.

PROS: reasonable prices, familiar themes, fun rides
CONS: teens will be bored unless they are into watching their younger siblings

Storyland is a great place for young families and there are actually a number of rides that would attract older kids, too. The park is very clean with specific smoking areas, plenty of bathroom facilities, and even "Mother's Rooms" for moms who need a private place to feed their baby or nap with the baby. The food area is very good, although we went early in the season so not all of the vendors were open. This is a place to visit annually for our family!
