Hotel De Anza

I stayed at the hotel while on business in San Jose. The location is great because it near everything in SJ(HP Center, SJ State, and the business district). The hotel itself is not very large which makes it seem more friendly to guests. The room I slept in was very clean and well furnished. The bed was also super comfortable. The greatest feature was the "raid our pantry" area. The hotel actually has an area where guests can make themselves sandwiches if they're hungry at night.

The one thing that was annoying to me, but I guess was not totally their fault, is the parking. Since it's in downtown parking is a major hassle. They do offer valet parking but at a fee.

I liked that the hotel is well-located and is close to San Jose State University and the HP Pavilion. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. The room amenities were very impressive. Rooms are very comfortable and the decor was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and there were snacks at night.

We had a great stay at the De Anza while passing through San Jose. The hotel is very close to the airport and to the highway, so it's convenient to get all around San Jose.

it's not enormous - around 100 rooms. The facility is nice & clean. The restaurant downstairs - La Pastaia - is fantastic Italian food. The rooms were around $99 / night, so we felt it was a great value. Highly recommend if you are traveling to San Jose.
