First impressions: When my husband and I found out we were expecting, we went back to the Women's Group and got Dr Prentice, and the only reason we stayed was giving the benefit of the doubt. The first appointment we were actually pleasantly surprised, Dr. Prentice did the ultrasound herself and confirmed the pregnancy, talked with us and answered all our questions. She reassured us that though we'd just recently miscarried, that this pregnancy was likely to be fine. That was the one and ONLY pleasant experience we had at this facility.
Our next appointment had to be rescheduled 3 times, and when we finally got in had to wait almost 2 hours, then got sent to a room to wait another half hour, only for Dr. Prentice to come in, measure my fundis, hear the heartbeat, and leave AS I WAS ASKING A QUESTION. How rude and uncaring! Every single appointment thereafter has been like this, she will either have her hand on the door opening it, or be fully OUT the door, before I can ask questions. I still haven't been told what my due date is, let alone if the symptoms I've been experiencing are normal or not. Thankfully, I have been able to find my answers elsewhere, but isn't that what we're paying $1000 for, for someone with a college degree to reassure us that everything is ok? Give us reccomendations and solutions? The only time I was able to snap Dr Prentice into a conversation was when I took a shot in the dark and commented on her shoes. She talked for HALF AN HOUR about the shoes, but brushed me off when I turned the conversation to my pregnancy. The only reason we haven't switched yet is because by the time I figured out something was wrong in the way I was being treated, we'd already paid in full, and judging from the other posts here trying to get our money back would be more than useless.
As for the receptionists and support staff, I have NEVER encountered a more incompetent group of rude, neglectful, ignorant people in a professional setting in my LIFE. They don't make eye contact, let alone offer to assist you; when you ask to be helped they roll their eyes (kid you not, every last one of them!!) and make it seem like your presence is a complete inconvenience. They have no clue how to book appointments, often overbooking, or not booking things AT ALL. I've missed three, count 'em THREE prenatal tests due to their incompetence, had to reschedule almost every appointment, and had to remind them to contact me about lab results. What in the world are we shelling out money for?!

Bottom line, if you are a first time mom, or one who can tell the difference between good and bad healthcare, DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY! You will spend more money than anywhere else (baylor only charges $400, opposed to the $1000 we're being charged), and get thrrd rate service at best.

First of all, the lady below this posting, is crazy. The Woman's Group environment is like a family with understanding staff and physicans. I have had the pleasure to meet with all of the physicians in this office, the office manager and the office coordinator. Every one has been very nice and informative. My needs have been met in a timely manner, and my calls are always returned by the end of the buisness day or the next day. My kids especially love to come here because Dr. Prentice always has fruit snacks in her office, and on holidays the front desk gives out little treats. This past Memorial Day, they handed out mini apple pies and American flags to all the patients. Yes, I had to pay my deductable amount for my pregnancy and delivery, but that is to be expected. Any educated sane individual with knowledge of their own insurance would know that there is money to be owed when recieving prenantal care. A sonogram was done at the first visit to give me a good due date and ensure it was a healthy pregnancy. heart tones were found and listened to every visit. I was told the gender of my baby with a full anatomy scan at 18 weeks. The sonographer and phlebotomist are both in the office which made it convenient for me. And when I came back for my post partum visit, the first thing the front desk staff did was make a big deal out of seeing the baby for the first time, asked to hold him, and showed him off to the rest of the office. Now, if thats not customer service, I dont know what is!

DO NOT waste your time coming here. I saw dr. Carson for a papsmear & to get birth control on a wednesday. I was told my prescription would be sent to my
pharmacy & would be ready an hour after I left their office after the appt however I didnt have a chance to go pick it up until Friday. when I went to pick it up on Friday the pharmacy said they never received a prescription for me. I left 3 messages with the dr's med assistant from Friday to the next Tuesday & finally she called me back & told me dr Carson had forgotten to send it in. when I complained about the inconvenience she claimed they had left a voicemail for me on Monday but I never got a voicemail from them. when I told her that she hung up on me. horrible customer service! I did not even bother calling back.

Loved this office! Front office staff was very sweet and professional. I refer all of my friends to Dr. Taylor, she made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. Her assistant was also wonderful. I'll be honest, I never like going to the obgyn but they make it so relaxed that I really won't mind going next time. I would send anyone I know to the Bedford location. :)

The front desk ladies are the worst customer service people I have spoken to EVER EVER EVER EVER. Dr. Taylor was ok. Every time I had an appt I would have to wait over 1 hour and they showed no consideration. THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T LEAVE IS BECAUSE MY INSURANCE WILL MAKE ME PAY MORE OF MY MATURINITY BILL. I would never recommend this place. My doctor set up my labor date and didn't even show up. She tried to cancel it know I had family coming in from out of town to care for my other kids. PLEASE don't mess up your labor experience and go here, you will be very dissatisfied!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Stephanie Taylor for 5 years now and NEVER have I had a problem with her or the staff. Dr. Taylor is very friendly and doesn't rush to get to the next patient. When the pharmacist needs to call and get a refill its done in less then 24 hrs. I found one review to be just idiotic which she gave Dr Taylor 1 star but never went to the appt due to what the reviews said. How can you rate this doctor when you have not been? The reason the waiting room is full is because there are multiple doctors in the office, duh! Also, the doctors assistance are pleasant as well.

I went to my first Appt with Dr. Emmett on Dec 1, 2010. There was hardly any wait for women that were already patients (approx 30 minutes in and out), mine was a bit longer since it was my first time there ever. The waiting area was nice, clean and comfortable, plenty of room. The front staff seemed very busy and 1 lady hardly ever smiled, but I would not have called her rude, and she did not have much interaction with me so I couldnt have cared less. The nurses were very pleasant. Dr. Emmett spent plenty of time with me, she asked questions and answered mine, I did not feel rushed or over looked. After having read these reviews of The Womens Group I was VERY worried about my choice of new doctor, however, after my 1st appt, I feel great about it and am glad I gave her a chance!!!

I went to the Women's Group for my annual exam. Dr. Webster was nothing but proffesional and took the time to listen about my concerns and answered any questions I had. She then scheduled the appropriate tests. Very sweet woman and I am happy she is my Dr. However...The front desk staff is what made my appointment a living hell. They were so rude, and were talking about me while I was in the waiting room. I mean can you at least wait until I leave or say it to my face? It's a shame that the Women's Group has such wonderful doctors, but the women at the front desk do not represent them in that way at all (to say the least).

I have been seeing Dr. Taylor since I moved here 3 years ago. She was referred to me by several friends who live in the area and some of whom drive an hour just to see her. I have 3 children of which she delivered the third. I was horrified of Doctors because of such bad experiences until I met her. Dr. Taylor and the staff made me feel so special. Dr. Taylor is the best doctor I have ever had. She listened to all of my concerns and always addressed every them. I have never had a doctor actually ask me if I had any questions or concerns every visit. She is honest and would never do any harm to any of her patients. Unfortunately with sites like this people write negative and dishonest things. But I can imagine she has 1000's of patients and only a few negative comments. Too bad "happy and satified" patients don't go looking for forums to post their "happy" comments.

I started going to Dr. Stephanie Taylor when I was pregnant with my first child. Everything was OKAY (although I'd arrive for my appointment 20 minutes early and actually get in about an hour after my appointment time and the front desk personnel were HORRIBLE), but when I told Dr. Taylor I wanted to attempt to do a natural birth (no epidural), she laughed in my face and told me that I could try, but 99.9% of her patients get either epidurals, c-sections, or both.
She decided that I needed to be induced 4 days after my due date because she was scared I was going to have a big baby (even though I'd been on a very healthy diet and didn't have any indicators of Gestational Diabetes). She never actually did a sonogram to check the height/weight after the 20-week sono (which he was measuring small for). My son was 6.5 pounds when he was born.
During labor, there were many, many interventions (most done without asking my permission), and things escalated to an emergency c-section that would NOT have been necessary had they let me labor on my own.

After the birth, when I went into my postpartum 6-week checkup I told Dr. Taylor that I didn't think my scar was healing correctly. She never even checked it- she just told me that, because of my c-section, I would NEVER be back to 100% and that I should expect to not be able to dance again (I'm a dance instructor by profession) at the level I was before I had the baby. I also told her that I was having issues with constipation as a complication from the c-section, and she said that's common. She didn't recommend a laxative or anything, she just said that it would take care of itself over time. ANYONE that's had a c-section understands the intense pain that's caused by laughing, coughing, or even taking a deep breath, nonetheless bearing down.

Needless to say, I decided to go to a different care provider for my 2nd birth. The Women's Group refused to send over my medical records, so after 6 months of requesting my paperwork and them not sending it I went into labor and I had a VBAC. The Women's Group put my life in serious danger by refusing to send the records.

Not only terrible Customer Service... I found a lack of caring AND a lack of compassion from them as well. I would never, ever recommend them to anyone if they care about themselves and their unborn child.

I had a very BAD experience at this office --- the front staff were not friendly AT ALL and the office is very UNORGANIZED!

This was my first appointment because I wanted to change Ob/gyn's due to be unhappy with my last ob/gyn. Dr. Webster was an hour behind ...then on top of that she had to deliver a baby -- so needless to say I cancelled and WILL not be back.

Back to the drawing board for a GOOD ob/gyn doctor in this area.... Why is it so hard to find a good doctor these days? Actually it might not be the doctor most of the time it's the staff that makes the doctor look bad.

I have been going to Dr. Taylor for a few years now. I really like her! However, back in July I needed to get in for an annual exam. The office scheduled me and then called a few days before to say that Dr. Taylor had a personal emergency. Understandable. They rescheduled me. A few days before that appointment, they called and said that Dr. Taylor was supposed to be back, but, was still out. Okay, they rescheduled me. They called AGAIN and said how sorry they were that she wouldn't make that appointment either. Yes, I hung in there. Finally went to the office (at the end of July) for my annual exam. Guess what....they said that I wasn't due for an annual exam until August and that my insurance wouldn't cover it! I was FURIOUS!!! Just recently, Dr. Taylor asked me to come see her in a few weeks if a current issue was still occuring. I made an appointment, but, couldn't remember the time. I called from 8 am (supposedly the office open time) to 10 am trying to get someone to tell me when my appointment was. Needless to say, once I finally held about 20 minutes, the girl told me my appointment was in 10 minutes. I think I'm done. Sorry Dr. Taylor.

I love Dr. Stephanie Taylor! I have seen her for the last 2 years and she just delivered my second child a few months ago. She never seems rushed and talks to you like a friend rather than just another patient. My 3 yr old loves her and her staff which made those weekly appointments much easier. I've only had one appointment rescheduled due to an emergency c-section, and they can always see me quickly even if I have to see one of the other doctors in the practice. I would recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone needing a good OBGYN.

I am pregnant with my first child and see Dr. Emmet. I absolutely love my doctor and the office. Dr. Emmet always spends extra time and addresses each of my concerns. She has never seemed rushed to me and is very compassionate. Often she will personally return my phone calls and I never feel like I am "bothering" her. The staff has been great. Yes, the waiting room is pretty busy, but it is a big practice so I think that is normal. I would definitely recommend Dr. Emmet to my friends and family.

I've never had a problem out of the womansgroup I've been going to Dr. Henderson for a guess 2 years, I switched to them because the last ob/gyn I went to you had to schedule your appt. 6mos to a year in advance, I love them because they can get you in either the same day you call or a week later. I just love my ob/gyn she listens and answer any questions I have. She is great.

I made an appt for my daughter 1 mo. in advance on a day she had off school. Within one week, someone from the office called to change the appt because the person calling told me the doctor "made other commitments" after I had scheduled my appointment. I still had to work on this day, so my schedule was not completely open, and I work 25 miles away but I tried to be open and understanding...the first time. After two more calls to change my appointment, I had enough. The person calling told me the doctor had already prescheduled a c-section and could not change it. (that would pay more money than my office visit...) Any other OB/GYN will set aside times/days for pre scheduled C-Sections, and then not schedule new patients/patient appts on those days. I understand you cannot plan labor, but to cancel already booked patients for a prescheduled c-section a week prior to the appointment is unprofessional! And they werent asking, it was already done. I called the OB/GYN upstairs from them and made an appointment for my daughter and cancelled this doctor. I also let the referring pediatrician know how this office works. Hopefully they never refer another patient to this ridiculous place. I only gave them a one star because you cant give them a zero. And I guess they do answer the phone...not nicely and they usually put you on hold without saying a word or hang up on you, but they do answer it.

I have been going to the Women's Group for a few years now, always for my annual. I recently conceived my first child and chose to stay with Dr. Emily Emmet, my regular doc. I completely agree that the front desk staff is not up to par - I have realized half (the front desk staff) is super sweet, super nice and the others - the strawberry blonde, skinny one is a total nightmare as well as a couple others. It is a large practice and yes, the wait can be a little long - but honestly, I have never been to a single doctor/office that I DONT have to wait! Compliments to Dr. Emmet, she is really down to earth and understanding and always willing to talk/listen. Her nurse, Susan is amazing! I have never had a problem getting a message to her and she always returns the call within a couple hours. She has literally bent over backwards for me to get me additional care for my gallbladder. As for the other doctors - I have only experienced Dr. Prentice when she was on call - even over the phone she was thorough and helpful (but yes, to the point, which could be taken as "rushing"). If I have something more/different to report in the upcoming months (I am 5 months prego) I will certainly update! PS. Even before I was prego I was NEVER made to feel like a "slut" or probed about my partner(s) - even before I was married.

I love Dr. Prentice. I go in for well woman exams, never been pregnant, so maybe my visits don't take as long as others, but have never had any trouble. I go to the Bedford location, and can usually be in and out in a lunch hour. NEW- THEY ARE CURRENTLY TAKING PATIENT SATISFACTION SURVEYS. IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY, CALL OR GO THERE TO GET A COPY.

I've been seen by Dr. Taylor for over 2 years now, and this is the worst that I've ever seen it. I've been calling this office everyday for 2 weeks, and everyday I get "Doctors office can you please hold"? Then keep me on hold for a long period of time. Is this really how you run a doctors office? I really like Dr. Taylor, but the front desk staff is less than desirable. They're rude and inconsiderate. I hate to leave you Dr. Taylor, but I need to be able to call you/your staff and talk with someone without being put on hold for long periods of time.

Waited two and a half hours to be seen! Dr. Webster did not listen to my needs or problems. She was concerned about the amount of ibuprofen I was taking but offered no alternative. Will not go back or recommend.

I recently saw Dr Emmet after being referred by a friend. I have never been to a doctor who spoke so little to me during an appointment and spent very little time with me. I felt rushed during my visit. The office was also way to busy and the staff wasn't very friendly.I had heard good things about this office and Dr Emmet and was quite upset to leave feeling this way. I will not be going back to this office or referring any friends.

All I have to say is run. I love the doctors BUT too many patients and staff is overworked. My experiences before I got pregnant were perfect. Once I was pregnant things got bad. I had four of my appointments canceled on me, they billed my insurance for my delivery and another individuals delivery (with a completely different doctor), I was catheterized 5 times during my hospital stay after I had a vaginal delivery, and came home with a serious urinary tract infection from which they didn't even bother to see me-they simply called in an antibiotic. Being a scientist I know that's stupid. You can waste your time on a antibiotic that doesn't kill the bacteria present in your urine-if the urine specimen isn't cultured. Needless to say I went to Care Now which was great. They cultured my urine and I am on the correct antibiotic. When it came time for my 6 wk clearance-guess what, the day before they called to cancel and move the appointment. Oh, and to top it off. The 1200 dollars we paid to the doc before having the baby has not been found in the claims with the insurance. So we are still dealing with that mess. Run for your lives.

Horrible!!!! The office called us the day before the appointment and asked us to move from Southlake to Bedford and from 9:30 to 2:30. Far less convenient, but we said OK. We get to Bedford at 2:15 and we wait and wait and wait. The office fills up and everyone goes on before us. Including the ones that came in after us. We went to the receptionist and was told that its because we are seeing Linda Prentice and she is backed up. We get in at 3:30 and sit in the patient room until 4pm. As it turns out, Prentice walks in with paperwork that we already got in the mail 2 weeks ago. She had the nerve to tell us that we waited for basically nothing. Why did we go in in the first place....on top of waiting for over 90 minutes? When I asked her that, she said thats the way "her" business works. She was rude, unprofessional, arrogant, and quite frankly a 0 when it came to anything. Do yourselves a favor and skip THE WOMENS GROUP...they are a joke.

It's a good thing I'm not PG yet or I'd be infuriated at how they run this office. My biggest complaint is how they handle phone calls. You CANNOT leave a voicemail for the nurse. You CANNOT talk to the nurse unless you are returning his/her call. If you are not returning her call you MUST leave a message with the front desk clerk AND tell her why you are calling. Why should I discuss my medical details with a FRONT DESK CLERK ?? non medical professional??? They don??t even return your message. I had to call back each time 24 ?? 48 hours after I left my message only to leave ANOTHER message. It??s insane. I used to work for an OBGYN and I can??t believe these doctors would allow their office to run like this. I saw Dr. Stephanie Taylor who dismissed my charting and all of my other efforts to get PG naturally. She immediately put me on Clomid and I felt it was to get me PG immediately, which in turn would mean more $$$ for her practice! Never going back?.

Horrible experience as new pt - first they told me I was scheduled at Southlake ofc - even gave me directions; when I showed up at Southlake ofc, was told they were in Bedford office that date, that I must go to that location instead; when I arrived, they were not apologetic (even tried to blame me for error!); saw dr prentice who was not friendly at all, very quiet and cold; no exam - 10 mn consult - yet was charged for new pt exam. Office is complete chaos ea time you call (expect avg of 15-20 mn hold time); ofc is lying to patients on lab results, telling them takes up to 4 wks for results, when lab confirmed most blood work only takes 24 - 48 hrs; said dr ofc is just overwhelmed and must be telling pts that since it takes them that long to read the results. very bad experience; would definitely not recommend and will never use this group again.

I've been going to this place for my annual check up for about 5 years and did not have a problem since the consultation was only once a year and it was really fast. In the beginning of this year I got pregnant and call for an appointment, got the afternoon off work and went for my first appointment as a pregnant girl, when I got there, the receptionist (the Blondie, skinny one) said that my appointment was for the following week and doctor Carson could not see me that day since she was leaving, but I could see Dr. Prentice, the only thing she said it was that if I saw Dr. Prentice I would have to stick with her for my hole pregnancy, well I thought that was good telling me something and said was ok since I was there already. The first appointment was ok, but then after that everything started to fall apart, the office staff are rude as could be, I think they shouldn't be in this business if they can't treat people with respect, every time you call the office they don't even ask what you need and already put you on hold for a while even if you just want to be transfered to somebody else. My next few appointment I waited to see the doctor for about 30 to 45 minutes and when the doctor comes to the room it takes about 3 minutes for her to tell you to comeback in a month. The last straw for me was when I ask if everything was ok with the baby and myself she said yes then she said I need a sonogram for no apparent reason. I changed doctor when I was 30 weeks and do not regret, my doctor seems to care about me and the baby, he'll explain and show me everything he's doing and the staff are really nice.I would never recommend the woman's group to my worse enemy

I've seen Dr. Webster twice for just my annual exam, and she has been absolutely wonderful both times. She was friendly, caring, and extremely open to answer any questions I had. I would recommend her to anyone! I do agree with others that the wait was long, but if Dr. Webster took the time to talk individually and answer questions with every patient as she did with me, I can certainly understand. Overall, yes, the wait times were long, but still a great clinic!

I have used Dr. Stephanie Taylor and had a great experience with her. I felt that she was understanding and caring. I never felt that she was rushing to get to another patient. However, the wait in the waiting room was long. My friend also uses her and has nothing but good things to say about her. I am trying to get pregnant and now with all the bad reviews am a little concerned about my doctor and the practice. Has anyone had a bad experience with anything important besides sitting in the waiting room too long? How is Dr. Taylor as far as delivery and care for expecting mothers?

I have been a patient of Dr. Prentice for a while. I have always regarded her with the highest esteem. She was very attentive and thorough with the care and delivery of my first baby. This time around I feel she is over extended. I don't feel I am receiving the same quality of care that I had received with my first child.

Wow, I'm very shocked at some of the negative reviews I'm reading. I'm in the last two weeks of my pregnancy and I have nothing negative to say about my experience with this clinic. My doctor is Stephanie Carson-Henderson and she is awesome! Very patient, caring, understanding, etc... She really put me at ease during my very first visit. The pelvic exam was quick and painless. Every visit since then has been smooth-sailing with short wait times. I will recommend this place to any of my girlfriends!

I too was referrred to The Womans Group and ultimately stuck with a so called MD by the name of Sephanie Taylor. If the appointment hadn't been bad enough, the office staff ensured that the experience would become progressively worse. No phone calls, no follow-ups, but what remained consistant were the lies. Unfortunately I must continue to deal with them ( hopefully for only a short while longer). I wish I had discovered this site earlier!!

I was having menopausal issues and since I did not have a gynecologist, my family doctor made an appointment for me with Dr Stephanie Taylor. I checked the internet to look up their office and found these reviews. After reading all the reviews I have to admit that I didn't feel at all comfortable about this appointment and canceled. I'm glad that I did. I continued researching gynecologists and found Dr Pamela Asghar. If you're looking for a doctor, you might read my review on Women's Care of Mid-Cities.

First off, I must say that doctor Carson-Henderson was nothing but professional and I have not a single complaint about her. However, their office staff would do better working at the DMV. They told me they would call a few days before to confirm my appt, and never did. When I realized I had missed my appt, and called to reschedule, they said they call as a courtesy, but apparently never got around to calling me! This would have been nice to know to begin with...
Next, they said to have my pharmacist fax a refill request for my prescription, and the doctor would fax it back to the pharmacy for me. Great! That would have been so helpful! I really did not want to start my next pack of birth control pills late. However, the pharmacist never recieved the request back from them. When I called to find out what was going on, the extremely unpleasant receptionist said that the doctor was not going to be in for the next few days, and had not come in that day at all- in fact, there were no doctors there today!
I told her I did not want to start my pack late, then she said that their policy is to have at least 72 hours for a prescription request. Once again, it would have been nice to have been informed of their policies before these problems arose. I suppose they expect all of their patients to psychically know about their abstract "policies." I will never go to the Women;s group, and will tell anybody who asks about them that they were the worst experience I have had with any medical practice.

The staff was very pleasant and efficient. I was nervous about my visit. I have not been to the OBGYN in a long time. I finally had to go due to pelvic pain. I saw Dr. Prentice. When I saw her and spoke with her about my pain; she would say "umhum... umhum". She moved her hand in a circular motion. It was like I was being rushed and I thought I explained my pain very well and brief. I didnt want to be there but I knew I had to go. She finally did a endometrial biopsy. The biopsy came back fine and after I asked her a question about the bleeding after the endometrial biopsy. She basically rushed me and walked out the room without even answering my question. i am currently looking for another OBGYN! Hope I find a good one. It is so hard to find a good OBGYN.

I made the mistake of choosing this practice and Dr. Stephanie Taylor as my wife's physician. The medical practice is very time inefficient! We had to wait an hour for the first visit and two hours for the second visit to see the doctor! Even after waiting for such a long time on each visit, Dr. Taylor has the discourtesy of ignoring our complaints of the wait time and the clinic's policies and procedures (will get to this in a moment). The policies and procedures that I am referring to are that this clinic has a terrible policy on informing patients on their lab results. They tend to call once every 5-7 days and if they don't reach you, they will try the same number next week. Forget about mailing the lab results unless you want them 2 months later! Why 2 months later you ask?? Well, that's because they don't 41 cents for the postage! That the reason I got when I showed up for the results! Can you believe that! In conclusion, I would not recommend this practice unless you want an incompetent physician and staff! Try a single physician practice for the best results!

I made the mistake of choosing this practice and Dr. Stephanie Taylor as my wife's physician. The medical practice is very time inefficient! We had to wait an hour for the first visit and two hours for the second visit to see the doctor! I moved here a year ago, and I was recommended to the Woman's Group.
First of all, the wait time was around 45 minutes!!! Then to wait for the doctor was another 30 minutes! For a 5 minute visit, I spent over hour and half.
I met with Dr. Taylor, and I was very disappointed at her lack of knowledge as a doctor or as a woman. She did not understand that we women know when we feel something, when we are feeling well, and when something is wrong. She ignored everything I said to her.
My husband and I just started trying to conceive. She told me to take prenatal vitamins which I did. I started feeling queasy and bloated few weeks later. I've never felt that way before. When I called to tell her that I was feeling bloated for no reason, she said it was my fibroids. I told her that I've had fibroids for over 10 years and never had any problems. She completely ignored me and said it was the fibroids.
From my own deduction and removing things from my diet, I figured out the problem was the prenatal vitamins.
If you are looking for a caring and understanding doctor, do not go here!

I have been a patient at this OB/GYN group for quite awhile. Most of my visits were the "annual" sort, until several years ago, my husband and I decided that we'd like to start a family. At my next GYN exam I visited with Dr. Webster about this possibility, and was referred to a fertility specialist for tests. We very much appreciate the delicate approach Dr. Webster took - we did have thorough discussions of our sexual histories, concerns, and we received the information and referrals we needed to achieve our goal. We enjoy Dr. Webster's polite, intelligent, conversational manner.

PROS: Dr. Webster's great manner

I hadn't had a check-up in several years, and chose Dr. Prentice at The Woman's Group IN SPITE of the very negative review posted here. My experiences have been amazingly positive. The office staff is friendly and helpful about everything from insurance to medical procedures. Sunshine, Dr. Prentice's nurse is beyond accomodating---just a real sweetheart. Dr. Prentice took the time to talk with me and answered all my questions. When I required more tests, Susan, the R.N., spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me. She explained the procedures and really put me at ease. No one at that office made me feel like a "slut" or that my sexual history was the main issue. In fact, the only reference to it was a question on the initial paperwork asking for the number of sexual partners---big deal. I would, and have, recommend The Woman's Group to friends and family.

PROS: The best.

The Woman's Group focuses so heavily on the assumption that women are sluts and have 10 one night stands a year that:
1. They spend much of a visit asking for sexual history, even if you are there for a pregnancy visit.
2. They want to talk about contraception and sterilization, even if you are there to have a baby
3. They are knife-happy; I've never had before suggest that if I want a particular delivery date, sure, they'll schedule a C-section.
4. Their billing department is a mess, and their lab mixed up and/or contaminated what should have been simple tests. If they screw up on something as simple as lab work, they can't be trusted with delivering babies.

PROS: none
CONS: run, don't walk, away from these so called doctors
