Wild Basin Wilderness

Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve has been around since the early 1970s and was founded to protect endangered species and hundreds of native plants, animals and birds in the Hill Country. There is over 200 acres of wilderness and beauty and visitors can hike over 2 miles of the trails. Great quiet place to get away from the city, house and telephones! Its just beautiful and a great learning experience for the kids! Dont forget the camera!

The Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve is a great place to visit and commune with nature. Wether you are into bird watching or just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place for you. They offer bird watching, hiking trails, and nature education programs.
