We love King Richards Faire and go every year! I do not think it is a great place for small children but thats me. For adults looking for a good time it is a hoot! We dress up and join in the fun. We love the jousting, belly dancers, the fire eating juggler-he is sooo funny! And the big cat show, where you can get really close to huge tigers and the like, and the company raises money to conserve these animals in the wild. Food is not that great though and very expensive for what you get.

King Richard's Faire is a fun place to visit, but isn't something that you'd go to more than once. It was interesting to see the artisans create their goods the old fashioned way. I was disappointed with the jousting matches though. I anticipated seeing ?real? jousting matches, but these were more of a show - they were all well choreographed and acted out.

King Richard's Faire in Carver is a great rennasaince festival to attend during the fall. Many patrons get all dressed up in period clothing. There are different shops to visit, shows to see and demonstrations to watch. It's a bit expensive ($24 per adult) in my opinion since you could easily cover the whole place in a few hours, but it's still a fun time.
