For quite awhile Safeway's gas was very competitive and with their 6 cent discount/gallon, was one of the cheapest stations around. However, about a month ago, their prices soared about 20 to 30 cents/gallon above their competitors. Since we'd been used to getting a good deal there, we didn't alway pay attention to the price. It'd taken us a few trips to notice the huge price difference.
I know that gas in far from being cheap nowadays, however, 20 to 30 cents a gallon above competitors is a bit outrageous.
