Came upon this site quite by accident, but had to write of the wonderful service and quality of work from Richard and Mary
and my "Eagle fan" buddies when I lived in Delran before moving
to Atlanta, GA in 04.

Once Richard came from the Moorestown shop to open the
doors for me to get my suites I needed to take on business travel.
They are the best people ever. I have not found a tailor or good
friends like this in my new area.
Miss them all!

I heard about the review that is posted a few below mine and felt i had to speak my peace. I am "holey jeans" the girl that works at Mill Run Cleaners. This lady that wrote this review was right about many things but to try to put me on blast about my wardrobe choices, is wrong. I am a college student who works at Mill Run part time, i am not the tailor nor the owner and i did try my best to help this customer out, which is stated in her review when she says that i called the owner. If you are going to write a review on the business write it on just that the business. And believe me what i wear to work or anywhere else is no business of anybody's. And I am a nice girl i just don't like being berated by someone who doesn't even know who they are talking about.

I go to Mill Run Cleaners when I am in this state. I never had a problem with the quality of the work. The tailoring is by one of the last few tailors that actually take thier time. It might be requested longer than usual, but the work is excellent. I travel all over the country and I get the service and quality at Mill Run Cleaners than any other state......

I recently brought 2 shirts in for minor alterations. I dropped them off on Thursday afternoon between 3:30 and 4:30pm and was told they would be ready Saturday. On Monday afternoon at around 4pm I went to pick them up and upon inspection realized that they had not even been started. The girl working there(in holey jeans- ironic for a tailors shop) called the owner (who does all the tailoring) and explained the situation to her. I was told to come back at closing time , 7:00pm, and the shirts would be ready. This was an inconvenience to me but I understand that mistakes happen and agreed to return that evening. I arrived at the store at 6:55pm and found it locked up with the lights off. My shirts were hanging within sight and completed. I stood in front of the store and called them via cell phone to make sure that noone was inside, and even inquired at the business next door about the whereabouts of the employee. The very nice owner of the restaurant came outside with me and looked for the vehicle of the employee and confirmed that she was gone. I was justifiably irritated. I returned the next day, Tuesday, to pick up my shirts and was told that the total was $14.00, which was the original price. I asked if I was going to receive a discount for my inconvenience and was told no. I asked the employee to have the owner call me the next day to discuss the issue and left my shirts at the shop. On Wednesday morning at 7:41am I received a phone call from Mary, the owner of the business. I explained the situation to her. She informed me that she would not discount the work and questioned me about the actual time of my arrival on Monday evening. She made no apologies for the work not being done on time and in fact told me that I shouldn't have "waited to the last minute" to drop off the shirts. She said that alterations take up to a week. She said that they "tried to accommodate" me. She then said that our conversation was "redundant" and hung up on me. I was floored. In point of fact I was told by the employee I spoke to on Thursday that the work would be done on Saturday. I didn't even need it until Monday. Had I known that they wouldn't do the work on time I would have just brought the shirts elsewhere for the work without malice and used Mill Run on another occasion. I am shocked that the owner of a business questioned my integrity about the time issue on Monday and even more surprised that she took no blame for the fact that the work simply wasn't done when they said it would be. I don't think most business owners would hang up on a customer either. I will be leaving home in a few minutes to pick up the shirts and will be paying full price. However, I feel very strongly that I was mistreated in this situation. I am going to make sure that all of the other military wives that I know are aware of this situation as well as anyone else I can think of. I am also planning on lodging a complaint with the better business bureau. I definitely recommend avoiding Mill Run Cleaners and it's sister site Moorestown Tailors in Moorestown, NJ at all costs.

I was recently in a wedding for a friend of mine. Since I am on the short side, all of the dresses were to long for me. I purchased my dress form a discount store that does not do alterations. I checked around and finally brought my dress to Mill Run for the alterations. They did a great job and charged far less than I would have paid anywhere esle.
