This is the best place I have ever dealt with, bar none, in any industry!! These individuals are very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. I had some questions about different tires and they were able to answer my questions and give me explanations to back up their response. I really appreciated everything they did for me and my tires are great.....they handle and steer very well....nad they have lasted twice as long as my last set! I will never go anywhere else!!!

the day had already been a disaster and quickly got worse when the rain turned into snow. i had a front steer going down fast and i thought because i made it to their shop that all will be better. whether it could be fixed or replaced didn't matter cause they had the ways and means to get it done and get me on my way to try and salvage the rest of a miserable day. come to find out that the shop guy didnt know how to work on large trucks and all the service men were out on calls. the 4 salesmen were eager to sell me tires for the back of my truck but none could fix my immediate troubles cause"its too wet and we dont do service" they stood amongst themselves and praised the days when they could do 50 service calls a day. when the service manager joined in with them and refused to do the work i needed i just about fell over. with 5 so called 'men' standing there i was told to sit tight and wait for a road guy to come back. i was, to say the least, shocked and very angry!!! they must have went back into the office to 'stroke' themselves some more cause all i could hear was some schoolgirl laughter amongst the silent shop and leaky airlines. at that time i proceeded to find what i needed to air my tire up and got the hell out of that pathetic poor excuse of a tire shop. i really feel for the owner but he hired them and it sure wasnt their first day. i went up the street to a different shop where another 4 guys were standing around but this time they were damn near tripping over each other in order to get my business.not only did they fix my flat i bought 4 new rears for my truck and was on my way in less time that it took for the other wannabes to lose my business and that sale.they should not be allowed to use our cities name in their title cause it doesnt represent the hard working men of piitsburgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ill probably see them again sometime and the only thing they will have to say is "welcome to wendys can i take your order!!!!!!!

I was after specific tires from TireMonkey. I wanted to avoid the fuss of having them shipped to a local installer and checked with Pittsburgh Tire service expecting to pay a little more to avoid this. They got the exact tire I wanted in less than a day, called to advise me, and installed them promptly, all for $50 less than I would have paid with TireMonkey.
Don't monkey around, call them first!

My car needed two new front tires. I called around and Pittsburgh Tire Service not only had the lowest rate, but they were even able to get me in that day! Very happy with them and would recommend them to others.

I cannot say enough about this business. Their prices are wonderful, their staff helpful and professional and their work top rate. The tires that my car needed were not something most places had on hand. Pittsburgh Tire Service went out of their way to get what I needed quickly and made sure that I was happy. I like that they lay out exactly what they are doing and why. It also became easy for me to quickly trust them as they always gave me different options from which to choose that provided me different price points. This is a shop to trust.

I needed a new tire for my car, so I called several places to compare prices. This shop's price was only beat by one large chain company. I prefer to support small businesses, so I chose this service center. When I arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that my tire could simply be patched as opposed to replaced... for a fraction of the cost. I was very pleased that the gentlemen working there didn't take advantage of my ignorance. Instead, they gave me a great deal and created a return customer!

PROS: Fast, friendly service from honest businessmen.
CONS:
