went in for the simple task of getting two replacement keys for my Jetta. Was told they would NOT need to be programmed and that I could just come in and pick up the keys when they were ready. Called ahead that day to make sure I could just come in and pick them up (even told the guy that I was coming from north Brooklyn and would take an hour to get there by train) only to find out once I arrived in Brighton Beach at the service center that I did in fact need to have my car towed to the shop and pay extra for the programing by the guy who I had just spoken with on the phone. This is all information that would have been awesome to know in advance like when I ordered and paid for the keys (or when I called to make sure they were ready) but apparently the guy running the parts desk is totally clueless. When I tried to talk with the service manager Steve and explain the inconvenience to me (getting a car towed in the snow in Brooklyn on short notice...) not only was he TOTALLY UNSYMPATHETIC, but he talked to me like I was the idiot for not knowing all of this on my own. Avoid this place!!! (I'd rather get towed to Jersey than deal with these jerks again)

We bought a new car from Kings several years ago and were impressed with their patience in us wanting a "no frills" vehicle. They quickly got that we wouldn't (couldn't) buy bells and whistles and patiently located a basic, stick shift car (and then didn't laugh when my husband decided last minute that we did need the monsoon sound system after all).
