Educating with Care
by Sue F.
My daughter's eighth grade graduation was bittersweet. Sweet, because she was transitioning from middle school to high school. Bitter because she would have to leave The Swain School. Not only is the education at Swain way above par in terms of academic standards and expectations, but the faculty and staff also share a warm relationship with students, rendering the school more of an extended family rather than simply an academic community.
PROS: small class sizes, genuinely caring staff
CONS: limited extracurricular activities for lower grades
