I purchased a Jamis Dakota Sport this week from them. What really floored me was when I told them originally in May that I couldn't get the bike until July they allowed me to make payments on it.And they held the bike for me.I think that was awesome to do.Also I didn't like the clip less pedals. So they ended up trading me for a super nice pair of aggressive but safe pedals which they changed super quick. This bike shop is excellent. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had and their service is unbeatable. This bike shop is indeed the best shop I have been to.And one last thing I did try their coffee and it is quite good to.

The guys in the bike shop were totally helpful and they helped me find the right bike for a reasonable price instead of screwing me out of a bunch of money.i have gone to many bike shops and none of them had the type of service that SMC had.Ive never had their coffee but I would think that the service would be phenomenal based on how it is at the bike shop.So of you want great service go to SMC!!!

A very refreshing change from the large franchise bike shops. This small bicycle shop has a very knowledgable crew willing to take the time to meet your requirements.
Also the coffee is really good. I was there on a slow day and expected to get ick, and didn't. What a pleasant surprise. The coffee has a nice fullness to it, superior to Starbucks in my opinion.

SMC is a high end bike shop with a laid back Pennsyltucky attitude. Whether you are a hardcore euro-roadie or just want to cruise town on a Sunday afternoon they have the bikes, gear, gel shots, and coffee your looking for. They are authorized dealers for Jamis, rocky mountain,Electra,Kona, and Eddy Mercxx. From inexpensive aluminum to high tech carbon fiber SMC has the bike for your budget. The coffee ranges from decaf skim lattes (why bother) to my favorite the heart of darkness (2 double espressos topped off with black coffee served in a pint glass). In the words of co-owner and chief wrench Mark Taylor "Bikes don't make people go fast coffee does.". So if you find yourself in Emmaus stop in for a coffee,Gatorade, muffin, and chain ring kick back at "the bar" and watch the pro's wrench some bikes (maybe yours). You might even end up talking to a pro rider or national champion (it happens on a fairly regular basis).

This is a great place to stop in after a ride for some coffee or during a ride if you need a tube or patch. The owners are really knowledgeable and friendly (one used to be an editor for Bicycle magazine), and it's some of the best coffee in town. For a small town like Emmaus, it's nice not to have to drive far for bike repairs. Before this place opened, we'd have to drive 25 minutes or more.
