I've been visiting Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom for many years, I take my kids and grandkids and it's a lot of fun for everyone. I really enjoy the water park, and the younger ones like the roller coasters and thrill rides. They are VERY expensive in the park, so we usually eat at the car. Everything about the park is expensive, so we don't go that often anymore, but when we do, we always have fun!

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a pretty good amusement park. With a season pass, it's a good deal also. During the summer we definitely get our money's worth out of the pass. We take our kids at least twice a week and the kids love the place. It's not nearly as fun as King's Island in Cincinnati, but it's close by. I really enjoy Hurricane Bay - we can easily spend an entire day in the water park.

I took the family to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom last summer and we had a blast. I love roller coasters and got the kids to ride them with me. They loved all the rides. There were some for the smaller son and plenty for my older son and myself. The wife isn't a big fan of rides so she went to the shows and said they were very good. She even did a little shopping in the stores and picked up gifts for friends. They had a special online discount so we got a great deal on admission. I did rain a bit that day, but that was the only bad side. Not their fault and the stores and restaurants let everyone inside to hide from the rain. It's not the largest park but very nice and close to home.

Kentucky Kingdom is a great amusement park with a lot of fun and exciting rides for both adults and children. I love their roller coasters, especially the Greezed Lightnin' which takes you up -side down through a hoop, and the suspending looping coaster called T2. If you do not like going up side down on a coaster, do not ride the Greezed Lightnin' or T2. They have a wooden coaster called Thunder Run that is a great deal of fun as well. There is a water park, but I did go into that area. The park was pretty clean, although some of the bathrooms were disgusting with dirty toilets and paper all over the floors. Food is expensive, so bring a lot of extra money. General admission is $37.99 with lower prices for children and senior citizens. I think it is worth the price, but a better deal would be a season pass for $49.99, so you can go again and again. You must pay to park as well.

This is not the best amusement park around. We only go here because it is close and we do not have to travel. It is really dirty. The places where you buy food did not look very sanitary.they do have abig wave pool called hurricane baythat is a lot of fun, but overall Kings Island is a lot better. and is worth the extra drive.

PROS: it is close to home
CONS: not a great place

I like the amusement park--it had the coasters, the water rides, it needed to have more though. I think the area is not that great--right next to the airport. There is no room for growth, but i still had fun.
