This bookstore/coffeehouse reminded me of a place I used to go to in Seattle. It is cool and quaint with some great/unusual books and awsome coffee!
I love independent brick and mortar bookstores & its refreshing to see they arent all closed down yet because of the big chains.
I had a great sandwich too, so go with an appetite!

I love small places with good service. I had a great visit and a great latte at the Bethlehem Book Loft and the Caffeine Cafe in Southside Bethlehem! They have a great, eclectic selection of used books- great stuff! The staff is friendly and helpful too! As the store is small they will order books for you that they don't have and it only took one or two days!

Bethlehem Book Loft seemed like a good idea. They claim to buy and sell your used books. If you have a book the Bethlehem Book Loft could sell they give you a fraction of your book's value to use as credit in their store. However, the catch is that you can only use your credit toward half the price of one of their books for sale. After trading with you they still want cash for the rest of the book price. The owners are hard to get a hold of. They do not work regular hours. They are infrequently in their shop and do not return phone calls or e-mail messages. There is another business in the same building-The Caffeine Cafe-however the partner in there has nothing to do with the Beth Book Loft and therefore can't help you with anything. Their store is virtually unattended to. I believe their shop is a storage area for their on-line used book sales. They don't have everything you're looking for and their hours are inconvient. I don't like this kind of treatment of a business. You're better off going to one of the big competitors like Borders or Barnes & Noble. And if you??d like to sell your books used then look around. There are places that will give you cash up front and have an awesome collection of books to use your credit for.
