Princeton record exchange is the only place I go for music and movies. They have everything and at an amazing price. Also, If I dont like what I bought I usually sell it back for a couple bucks.

Man, Prex is the greatest. The selection is vast, interesting, and surprising, and the salespeople actually know what they're talking about (unlike some other pretentious record stores). They have an incredible variety of music, as well as a random selection of VHS, DVDs and video games--sort of a mixture of curiosities and overstock. The best.

This is one of those Princeton landmarks that has been around forever. If you still use those round shiny disks called CDs then you should take a look here for everything under the sun at rock bottom prices. They even have vinal records and those special plastic covers for you collectors out there. They will also buy back your DVDs and CDs depending on their condition and "value." In theory this is great but you really don't get a lot of money per CD.

Absolutely amazing! This store is quite a find if you are looking for an indie record store where you can trade in your old records and find some new classics, this is the place for you! The staff are quick to make recommendations, which I love! They can expose you to artists you would not normally listen to. Also great if you want to unload some old records and make someone else happy in the process!

The used section is second to none. Many titles are to be found on both CD and vinyl at very good prices. The new CD section has a little to be desired. Many titles are not in order and I found myself resorting to asking the staff for assistance on finding titles. The staff is not the most friendly unless you are a complete rock geek. Novices beware.
