This is a fine place for those that wish to attend a college that does not cost a lot. The price for classes is much lower than what will be paid at the University of Louisville. It is also a good idea to go here for two years than transfer to a bigger school. I received my associate degree in the arts from this school, and then transferred to the University of Louisville. The classes are somewhat small; therefore you can get individual attention from teachers. There are a good variety of classes to pick from at JCC. Many of the teachers really care about their students, and are willing to spend time outside of class to help you learn. The biggest problem going to JCC is the stigma attached to this school. Many people look down on JCC students as not being smart enough or good enough to attend a bigger and better university. I would ignore these narrow-minded individuals. This is a good school and you will save money going here for a few years.
