It's never fun when your A/C gives out in the middle of the summer. Thankfully, the guys from C.B. Lucas gave us a good deal on a new system (which we verified with an estimate from another company), and had it installed three days later, which seems almost miraculous at this time of year (August 3rd). The best part was that the whole time my wife and I were dealing with them, from Doug, who came out to diagnose our problem and gave us the estimates, to Mike Lucas, who we worked out the details with, to Cody and Tony, who did the installation, we always felt like we were dealing with honorable people whom we could trust, and we haven't been let down. Not to mention the fact that Doug, Cody, and Tony were collectively punctual, courteous, friendly, and the work they did was done with obvious attention to detail, including fixing some minor issues from the previous installation that weren't their problem, but just made things better for us. Also, Cody and Tony left zero cleanup for me to do after the install, and Cody was very thorough in showing me the what was what with the new system. It's rare to deal with people who understand good customer service these days. Thanks guys! I recommend C.B. Lucas unreservedly.

My heater went out early spring and I started calling around for estimates. Lucky for me it was not too cold and I did not have to make a decision on the spot. I was able to call several companies, have them come out and give me estimates. CB Lucas gave me BY FAR the best price and provided great service. My house is quite large and only has 1 zone heat, they recommended for just a little more they could work with the damper system, install additional dampers and give me another zone upstairs with another thermostat. Boy, am I glad they suggested that to me. This should save me quite a bit in my utility bills and I love it. The technician was here when they said, was very professional and had the system installed with no problems. They also suggested for just a little more, and I mean little, that I could upgrade the warranty to 10 years part and labor. That was a no brainer to me. To have peace of mind for 10 years with my system. Thank you CB Lucas. I am so glad that they were one of the companies I called for an estimate. I would recommend them to anyone.

C B Lucas installed a new Trane Air and Heating System in my home. I received estimates from 6 different companies and they were the lowest in offering all the key things I wanted in my new system. Although my current system was operational, I thought it was time for an upgrade, and the new system qualified for the $1,500.00 tax credit. The technician answered all my questions and even showed me how to program the thermostat, change the filter and register the warranty. I noticed my electric bill has gone down, and this is the hotest part of the year. My house is cooler now and I would definitely recommend C B Lucas.

If you are deciding on whether or not to use this company- don't! This could be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The administrative assistant must be a relative or something and is ignorant and really can't answer any question, she was reading to me the exact wording on my service sheet- I told her I could read what was on there and she said she wasn't a technician and she'd have a technician call me back. Well, a technician never called me back but the Service Manager did call me back- Wayne Lucas. This guy is a real piece of work! Could be the rudest person I have ever talked to. He basically placed the blame on everything but the work they did and said they could come out and fix it but for a fee. (The issue was just serviced by them a month ago so I thought they should fix it for free). I told him that I could HIRE anyone out there but since they just serviced it, they should stand behind their service. Obviously, that is not going to happen. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I hope they go out of business- I told them they certainly wouldn't be getting any business from me anymore! What a horrible experience- We will never be doing business with them again! Beware- once they do service- don't expect anything else- and don't expect that you will get 100% service either- what a waste of money.

Was not responsive to my follow-up phone call a week after a service call. We found out our AC was out of service. Would cost 2k to repair or 4.6 K to replace. We told the repairman we would wait until spring since we did not need the AC until then. Repairman did not think to tell us that the heat - normally running off the heat pump would be running off of emergency elctric heat. When our electric bill more than doubled we tried to call to find out if the broken heat pump could be affecting the price of electric and we wanted another option for the system they quoted for our rental home. Phone call and discussion was made on Monday. I called back on Wed. They had no knowledge of my call on Monday and had to repeat my story. Owner called me late Wednesday afternoon and had to tell the story again. He called back Thursday morning and told me he researched it and we should just go with the system that was quoted - no other options, Was also told that it was not a big deal that service tech did not tell us about the emergency heat, since it must have been running for ahwile since we already got a high electric bill????? Did he not think it was important for us to get this situation rectified so that we would not continue to receive extrememly high bills? Very rude - old school. Customer Service is not #1 at this company.

I will NEVER use this company again. If I could give them less than a one star rating, I would.
