I've stayed here for a month when I was moving, and my new home was getting ready- and I didn't get bored!!
Although it's small hotel, there's so much to do because of the location (right in the middle of Kenmore Square), and the elegant atmosphere of the hotel is really nice.

I think that all the rooms are like suites, and the high ceilings and decors were magnificent.

The Voss waters and the cookies they give u in the rooms are really good!!

Hotel Commonwealth has one of the best locations in Boston. The hotel is elegant and the service is 5 star. You are in a central location surrounded by great things.

Whenever I visit Boston in the future, if it is at all possible, I will stay here.
They treated me like an honored guest, took care of everything I needed with courtesy and professionalism, gave great advice on where to eat. Everything felt elegant, and I always sleep poorly when out of town on business...but I slept wonderfully.

I'm sorry the other reviewer here didn't know how to rate the restaurant inside the hotel, and instead put the restaurant review here. I know it's difficult.

The Great Bay is one of the worst restaurants around.
Watery "gazpacho" cucumber floating in a bowl of water, over salted calamari, dreadful

Message from Hotel Commonwealth

A thoughtful reimagining of what a Boston hotel can be, Hotel Commonwealth unhinges luxury from its traditional definition to bring guests urban vibrance and the ultimate in unscripted hospitality, right in Kenmore Square. That our stylish spot flanks Boston's beloved Fenway Park shines bright on its list of perks, as does being in easy embrace of the city's prominent academic, medical, technology areas.

This is Hotel Commonwealth. At Hotel Commonwealth, we begin with a simple premise. We take cues from each guest to help define how we can be distinctly 'of service' to them - it's a guest-changing philosophy that doesn't live in a manual, but rather within the DNA of our brand. Unscripted hospitality plays out daily in all we do. It empowers our employees to provide incomparable, authentic service. And it has earned Hotel Commonwealth the distinction of being Boston's most beloved hotel on Trip Advisor for three consecutive years.

Editorial from

Although constructed after the turn of the millennium, this hotel has an old-fashioned feel to it. Sitting in the heart of Kenmore Square, overlooking Fenway Park, gives it a distinct advantage with Red Sox fans, but its also a nice option…
