The Childrens Museum is just a great place to take the family. When my kids were younger we went all the time. Now that they are older, they still love to take friends and relatives from out of town. Even though the 14-year-old pretends to just be doing it to entertain little kids, his eyes still light up when playing with the water. Mine do too.

My family has had a membership to the Children's Museum for 4 years now! Great bargain at $75 per year. (usual admission for ages 1+ is $7.95).

Some things to note: 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month are "Habitot Tuesdays". This means school groups are not allowed & there are activities geared towards toddlers and pre-school aged kids.

The 3rd Sunday of each month is free - very busy. Be sure to avoid this date if you're a member!

Also - street parking in St. Paul is free Sundays!

My son has loved the Children's Museum since he was 1 years old. There is so much to do and see. You can spend hours there and not get bored! Membership is pretty cheap, too, like $75/year. For a years worth of entertainment, that is not bad. We can go over and over again and not get bored as they do change the themes and displays.
