Ted's Montana Grill

I was REALLY disappointed in the service at Ted Montana's in the KCPL Light District last evening . We went there straight from work with advanced reservations for a party of fifteen (15). It took over 1/2 hour to get our water and drinks. The waitress had to come back and take the order three (3) times ??? !!! Then the food came out in waves and the last five (5) of our party of fifteen (15) got their food after the rest of us were done eating and finished. Some dared to order the strawberry shortcake for dessert and it also took way too long to get there. The manager was called and he comped the alcoholic beverages and desserts, but not the iced teas and sodas...go figure. Then they brought the bills but the drinks and desserts were still on the bills. It took another trip back to the computer and another 15 minutes to get the bills straightened out.

I will NOT be going back there in a large party EVER. Never go there with a party greater than four (4) or maximum of six (6).
they seemed overwhelmed and unable to co-ordinate for parties greater than 4-6 people.

The food was good, but not worth the wait and hassle..

Teds Montana Grill has exceptional food in a great setting. It is a little pricey for lunch, but a nice restaurant for a fine meal. They are known for their meat, but the sides were outstanding. The service was great and they definitely wanted you to enjoy your meal.
