Stay away! This office just gets worse and worse. I have been going here for over ten years, but over the past year, things have gone from bad to worse. The office staff is extremely rude, acting as if you are bothering them when you come in. They make you stand there, while they have the window closed and ignore you until they are done conversing with one another. This office recently got a new computer system, which affected answering the phones. I was on hold for a hour to schedule an appointment! When I went in to see the doctor, he told me I was lucky I didn't call the day before, because the wait was even longer! No concept of good customer service here. I have just received a denial from my insurance company because the office has spelled both my first and last names incorrectly. I called today and was told that my message would be given to the office manager and "hopefully she can fix this." I could go on and on but I won't, I am changing my primary now, but I came on here to look up reviews on the new doctor, and came across others that have had to deal with the office staff from hell. Physicians "nurses" are no better. I am a nurse myself, and would never treat a patient with such disdain as I have encountered here.

Dr Ecker and Wendy Brian are the best and I completely trust them with my health issues. I have seen other Doctors at this office and they are good also. I never have a problem with the staff. Some people like to complain or they don't have their info with them. I would highly recommend this office.

I would recommend this office.

The doctors are really professional in this office. Sometimes there is a wait, but the docs spend a long time with their patients, so the wait is worth it. The doctors I have visited were all very thorough in their exams and had an excellent demeanor.

The real problem is the incompetent office staff. They dont return phone calls, messages aren't given to the doctors, test results take multiple calls to get an answer. Here is something annoying, if you need a referral or a med refill, you are suppose to leave a message in the proper voice mailbox. However off hours, you dont have that option. No one picks up these calls anyway, what is so difficult about having the referral and prescription refill line open 24/7 to leave a message. Its just poorly organized and the staff is sometimes very rude. When people are sick, the last thing they need is 'tude from the ladies behind the desk.

Wait is long and receptionists are rude. I would not recommend going here, unless you want to talk to the rude receptionist and wait for a lengthy period of time for your appointment.

Don't go here! Office stuff is very rude and unprofessional. They mess up your billing and make you pay for it. I also had problem with office stuff calling me back with blood work results.

I have been seeing Dr Richardson for over 3 years. She actually listens and spends time with her patients. She is extraordinarily thorough and I have been impressed by the quality of care I received. In fact, I moved out of the King of Prussia area last year and I still make the drive to see her. The office staff however is another matter. I called 3 times in two weeks for a prescription refill that was never called in. No call back that there was an issue. Finally I just had to make an appt with the doctor. Test results require multiple calls to get the information. They take 3 to 4 days to write up a referral which is frustrating if you ever get a last minute appointment with a specialist. The Dr's and nurses are top notch. The office staff stinks. Sorry there is no nice way to put it. I have friends still in the area who continue to see Dr's in this office and while they love the doctors they all complain about the lousy office staff

The first impression was less than stellar. The office staff lost our forms that we had taken over earlier in the week. The office was dirty. Not just dirty but filthy. I floor look as if it has not been vacuumed and the toys available for the kids to play with were filthy and broken. I honestly do not believe anyone has very wiped down or cleaned the toys. I found my child walking around with two 1.5 inch screws. Where they came from....who knows. Pretty disturbing, but ok enough with the bad stuff.
The doctor Kim Richardson was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with us. Asked us about our feelings on medical treatments and explained everything in very clear terms. She offered additional information on the topics that we were discussing. It was a very informative appointment. I was very impressed with her. I would give her FIVE stars.
When it come to medical treatment, I suppose it the the doctor that matters. I will just hold my child in my lap until it is time to see the doctor.

All the good reviews written on here are by the staff. These places don??t care about patients all they care about is money, money, money, I don??t know about the doctors but i hear they are good doctors. if they are they need to get rid of the people who answer the phone and schedule appointments. IT does not hurt to be nice to the patients when they call or schedule an appointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone until they get rid of the staffs that schedule appointments and answer phone. or who ever just sitting around and taking out frustration out on patients because their husband is cheating on them or they have a miserable life

Although I like Dr. Richardson, I'm fed up with the lack of response and the rude behavior of the staff. I never get calls from the staff concerning test results - I always have to call in and ask what the results are. And last week I called in a prescription refill request - one week later the pharmacy still hadn't received a call for the prescription. Whenever I go to the office, the staff acts like they're going out of their way to give you a minute of their time, even though they're just doing their job. I can't remember the last time I actually saw someone smile in the office and greet me pleasantly. After six years of continuing decline in service, forget 'em - I'm going somewhere else.

I have been a patient if Dr. Kimberly Richardson's for over a year. She is extremely kind, attentive, and professional. I felt like my heath was important to her, and of great concern. I am not chronically sick, so I only need to see her a few times a year, but each time she was just as great. The problem is the office itself. The staff is rude, they have few evening hours, and they overbook. God forbid you are 5-10 minutes late for an appointment and they are overbooked. You won??t be seen, and they will charge you a no show fee. I hope one days she braches off to another practice because I do not plan on returning to see her as long as she is at King of Prussia Family Medicine.

Dr. Ecker is probably the one of the best doctors that I have ever been to. He is usually on time, kind and attentive. He will take any complaints/symptoms of yours very seriously and isn't afraid to refer you to a specialist if it's something he's not sure about. He explains everything very clear. I highly recommend him.

I usually see Dr. Ecker and he is a great doctor. He is very patient and attentive and really listens to what you are telling him. He is usually on time - I have not had to wait to long for him but the office can get a bit crowded on times. Also, it can something be hard to get an appointment with him at the last minute but he is well worth the wait.

I recently had an appointment with King of Prussia Family Medicines new doctor, Dr. Kimberly Richardson. I was impressed and plan to go back to her in the future. She really seems to know her stuff and takes any symptoms you may have seriously. She has a good sense of humor and made my visit as comfortable as a trip to the doctor can be.

PROS: Dr. Richardson, short wait time
CONS: few evening and weekend hours
