The CofC bookstore is the place to go to get all your needs for college. They have a wide selection and a huge staff during the busy months. They tie in all of their labels with the professors so you know what you're getting is what you need for your class. My only complaint is that they are overpriced, books are always cheaper at University Books and of course even cheaper online. Overall College of Charleston Books is a nice place with a great staff.

PROS: Nice building, selection, and staff
CONS: a little pricey

If you've never been to the college of Charleston bookstore, you are in for a unique experience. In addition to the regular student textbooks you'd expect to find, they offer local works & books by local & regional authors. The college is set up in the downtown area in older, historic buildings so it's fun to browse especially if you are touring the area for a day and have an hour or so to pass.

PROS: on historic campus
CONS: none
