I have been a loyal customer to Hurry Curry for a while now, and it is not only me, but my whole family loves it. If you are looking for some good curry with tasty side salad and a ice cold glass of water, this is the place for you. I recommend the standard chicken cutlet curry, I get it almost every time (sometimes I get risky and try something new, but I always end up going back). If you are hungry and looking for some good curry to eat, let me show you to Hurry Curry of Tokyo. This place will satisfy.

Yummy curry

This is a usual curry place my friends and I go to. I enjoy the tokyo curry but all in all its very good and has reasonable prices. There happy hour is delightful and you can get appetizers for half the price! The service is friendly and once you go, you'll be a regular as well.

Good Curry
by joseph b.
I love SPICY food and you can get this soooooo spicy. I do have a complaint though. The rice doesn't ever seem to be cooked quite right. It always seems a bit dry.

The food was not that great, but I accidentally ordered spaghetti with white sauce which I couldn't eat - the server took it back immediately and got me spaghetti with red sauce wit no complaints. For this they get 3 stars.
The salad was quite disappointing - it is like they poured soy sauce on lettuce.
The spaghetti was pretty soggy and the sauce was not inspiring.
PROS: Service is great
CONS: Soggy spaghetti

I love the Chicken Curry. The chicken is slow cooked and just falls apart. I always add the mushrooms and spinach for an extra $1.50. Very relaxed atmosphere - it has never been super busy when I have been in. The waitresses are quick and efficient. A great place if you like Japanese curry.

this is a great place for inexpensive curry. i love their chicken cutlet dish and their chicken spaghetti...too much of the spaghetti can make it seem kinda bland...but if you have friend that joins you...order both and share! thats a great combo! service is great, but parking can get a bit annoying

Great Curry, Great Service
by Greg H.
I'm a sushi-lover myself, and so whenever I eat at a Japanese restaurant I'm usually at the sushi bar slurping down caterpillar rolls and inari. So, my first time at Hurry Curry was definitely a different experience. Chicken cutlet curry, the shrimp curry...all of it, everything I've had has been great. The miso is quite good as well. All topped of by quick service, no matter the time of day or night.

I was surprised that I liked the chicken cutlet curry. Normally, I don't care for curries too much. Somehow, though, the curry is just right.. very flavorful but not in your face, so to speak. I highly recommend it.

They do a great Japanese chicken cutlet, and you can get the curry as aggressively hot as you want it. It seems be getting more and more crowded with each passing week.

A nice place to have lunch in. The only thing I tried was their "Tokyo Curry" (beef). The beef was overcooked and was dry and a little harsh; mixed with curry, it gives only the taste of "some meat". It's just not the way I like it.

I work in the old town Pasadena area and this is my daily lunch spot and has been since it opened. The food is great and the folks there are the best. Go for the chicken curry (extra spicy) with the spinach and mushrooms and brown rice... Yummy!

While lunchtime finds the service a little slow, this is THE place to go for dinner or late dining. Also notable, if you like your curry spicy, it's guaranteed to be at dinner (lunch curry is fairly mild). This curry is just like what I lived on in college.
Also notable, the ambiance here is wonderful.
My only issue is with the bathroom (which seems to be used by Wokano customers as well). The bathroom is outside of the actual restaurant, and the building managers don't keep it very clean. Sometimes it can be really gross, as a matter of fact, but I don't blame the restaurant really.

If you like Japanese Curry, this place specializes in it (straight from the streets of Tokyo). I usually get the Chicken Cutlet Curry or the Tokyo Curry. Make sure to get the chili oil if you like your food spicy hot!
