My husband and I have been comign here for takeout for the past 10 years and LOVE the food. Everything is delicious, the waitstaff is very accomodating and portions are large. We just moved out of exton and cant find a decent place for chinese, so now we drive over 30 minutes just to come here- it really is the best in the area. I would highly recomend it, esp the spring rolls and sesame chiceken!

I recently moved to this area, and after reading the previous review, i tried tifco's china bistro but was appalled with the quality of the food. The vegetables were limp and yellow, and the chicken was extremely dry and tough. I was very disappointed with the food as this is my first chinese food meal since moving here. A week later, my coworkers highly recommended China King as a quality family-owned restaurant, and brought me there for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and decor. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lunch specials included soup, rice, and the entree, and was hot and fresh. I tried the kung pao chicken, which is a favorite of mine, and this is by far the best i have ever had. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the dish was perfectly spiced. Overall, i was extremely pleased by the quality and price of the meal. My coworkers, who are regulars, told me that China King has been run by the same family for a decade, which doesn't surprise me since the food and service are excellent. I now recommend China King to everyone I know! If you are lookingn for a chinese restaurant with delicious, affordable food and great service - stop looking and go to China King!

After several recommendations, we had takeout from China King tonight and it was terrible. We had General Tso's chicken and Sesame chicken. Both were hard as a rock on the outside and literaly couldn't even be cut with a steak knife. Plus, the quality of the chicken was bad. Very tough. They gave us a large amount for $25, but since it was inedible we basically threw $25 down the trash. I have had chinese food in many different areas of the country and this is the worst by far. There's a Tifco's Chinese Bistro around the corner that blows this place out of the water. Get your money's worth and go there.

PROS: Their steamed whie rice was good.
CONS: Not worth $25, not even worth $5

This is my husband's favorite Chinese food in the area. They don't have a buffet. It is strictly sit-down. They have really cute dcor and nice big fish tanks to add to the setting. They have a lot of little nice extras here such as bringing you noodles and tea before the meal and a hot towel afterwards. The service is pretty timely and the food is always hot and fresh. The waitstaff is very friendly and accomodates special orders. I am a vegetarian and I can always get them to explain the ingredients in the meals. They give pretty generous servings here, and my husband really likes their General Tsao's chicken. Even though a lot of competition has recently moved into the area, this place is still in business which says something about them.
