So, I just moved here and ordered a package through them after they talked me into it...later that day found a cheaper and better deal with a different company. Called the same day and cancelled the installation and service with Time Warner, not a big deal. Well they had already charged my account about $110 in a matter of minutes...I expected it to be refunded in a timely manner (This was on the 2nd of the month.) On the 8th of the month I noticed NO refund. I called and the rep told me "oops, looks like they forgot to refund your money." No big deal again, I just requested that they do so. On the 14th I called AGAIN, STILL NO REFUND. By now, I'm a little angry. They said "mmm, not sure what is going on" put me on hold and then came up with some BS process that it was going to be refunded with 24 hours. Today (the 18th) I call because the money is STILL NOT IN MY ACCOUNT. Im royally angry now...I finally get a supervisor (when I asked for a Manager) and go around and around with her. She says that the refunds department refunded the money to my bank yesterday (the 17th), what happened to 24 hours? She says the money wont be in my account until the 23rd, and there is nothing they can do other than apologize for the delay. I requested a check today...NO, then I requested a "real" manager and of coarse "they will have to call you because there isn't one available. So, now I'm waiting on the Manager to call me back. What a nightmare...I'm so glad that I chose the other company who doesn't charge up front and service has been great through, I couldn't imagine dealing with Time Warner on a Daily Basis. So as of today they have had MY money for 16 days and paying NO interest on it.....isn't that illegal or something? I would stay clear of Time Warner all together unless you enjoy headaches and poor customer service.

The customer service you get from Time Warner cable has got to be the worst I have ever seen. When you call to cancel a service, you wait on an average of 30 minutes to speak to someone but when you order service, it seems the wait is only 10 minutes on the max. Going to the office, the reps are just as rude. I would rather not deal with people like them. If you can, select another cable company.
