I purchased a vacation from the mini getaway vacation inc. They said I had one year to take it. When I call the company the phone was disconnected, so finally I gota another number 386-467-9050,they refered me to Patrick the (owner) to ask him some of my questions. He was really upset that I ask him what hotels I would be staying in.He was very angry and yelling at me just because I ask him some questions.I did some research he was calling me from a cell phone not listed under his name, but LEAD Company. His number is 407-683-9344.please call him let him know what you think I did.I also filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Argiculture of services.there # 1-800-435-7352. Please filed a complaint to stop this FRAUD!!!I have read several other people who he did the same to on ripoff.com visit this page. read their stories.

I purchased a holiday package from 'Great time Vacations' of Longwood, Florida. They are part of www.arcfun.com. They called me and told that I had $350,00 taken from my credit card in their account and it had not been used. They said for a small fee of $99.00 I could activate it and extend the date another twenty four months. I finally decided to do that and then they offered some extra certicates for another $49.00 and $99.00 to give me free vacations. One was a 4 day/3 night Bahama cruise. When I got the coupons I didn't look at them right away and left them for several weeks. When I finally did look, I noticed that that so-called cruise was 3 nights in a two star motel in the Bahamas, two miles from a swimming beach. The extra cost involved was $99.00 activation fee and then $189.00 per person. Food and everything else was extra. So I suspect the cruise ship was really acting as a ferry boat to get us to our wonderful motel close to the docks. No food or nights on the ship. I asked about if the hotel was 4 star and was told they didn't give out the ratings as they were not accurate. I googled the so called "Island Palm Resort." to find it was definitely nowhere near a four star or even a three star resort. Having traveled all over the world having had the privilege of staying at four and five star hotels and beach resorts ,it was a shock. Warning! don't get involved in these rip off holiday packages. Beware! Also read their conditions. No refunds after 30 days. When I said the certificates were no use to me, they said I could give them to someone else. I wouldn't give those certificates to my worst enemies.

This is a scam. The phone number on my reservation form has been disconnected. We purchased this vacation package from Mini Getaways and they will not return my calls either. Do not purchase this package from the newspaper because it is a SCAM.

check out the report:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/047/ripoff0047764.htm

My personal experience is that I was scammed. what they do is tell you all sorts of wonderful claims and then tell you they will tape the conversation for your security. When they tape it, they do not mention any of the claims.

Later on they hit you with additional fees which they specifically said did not have to be paid when they were making the fabulous claims.

They did so under the business name of ARCFUN.

They keep switching. Beware!

I was skeptical, when I purchase a Florida vacation package over the phone. I mailed in all of my information to a fullfillment company (ARC). They went over all of the terms and conditions of the pacakge, and made me feel woderful about my vacation. They even offered me upgrades above and beyond what I had expected from a $315.00 pacakge. When I traveled I was please to find that everything that I was promised was provided. Two thumbs up, to this company.

PROS: They did exactly what they said they would
CONS: Having to deal with companied before ARC
