Looks bigger than it really is from the outside. Everything is spread out on the inside but there are alot of money saving items. Keep a look out for thier free items, at times they roll shopping carts in front of the store with free items. The store is always kept clean.

The Habitat Home Improvement Outlet just off of I-30 in Garland is an interesting store to go and browse around in. They basically have items that are "leftover" from home renovations that have been donated by contractors and are on sale to the public at very good prices. I have found large rolls of wallpaper for only 1 dollar, which we used for wrapping paper. The items change all the time so what you might find one day you probably won't find again. You can find anything right down to the kitchen sink here if you need one. It is a good store when you are starting a renovation project to check out and it benefits a good cause too.

PROS: Great for bargain shopping
CONS:

Habitat Home Improvement Outlet is occupies a building that was once a grocery store. This outlet store is filled with good quality used items for home improvement. All sales support the organizations main goal of building homes for needy families. Plenty of aisles that sell everything from toilet seats to wood flooring. Friendly staff, always willing to help. On occasion you may find appliances that are donated by contractors, manufacturers or individuals. Good solid business with a purpose.
