I have always purchased from Summit city Bicycles. The staff is very Helpful, They even fit me into my bike and helped me with details, such as , tingling in my fingers when I ride and pressure on my back. the adjustments corrected my issues and I was able to ride a 3 day 250 mile bike ride, and I'm just an average rider. I would recommend them and their company as examples of excellent customer service. Great job Summit!!

I've purchased 2 bikes from Summit City Bicycles. One bike for $800 and one for $1500. I have purchased numerous misc parts and supplies for all of my bikes from Summit. They have a lot to choose from and customer service is average. (depends on who talks to you).

Overall Summit City is an overpriced bike shop. Summit attempts to sell absolutely every bike at MSRP and provide very little wiggle room for a discount. I understand MSRP when a product is new, but I recently wanted to purchase a 2009 dirt jump bike that Summit was attempting to sell at 2010 prices. They were willing to come down $25 off the price. I don't consider myself cheap, but I do expect to pay fair prices especially when out of town bike shops charge much less.

My recommendation is if you have the time to order parts or your bike online, or are willing to drive to another shop that offers what you're looking for, do it. You will save a lot of money and frustration.

Summit City Bikes offers a wide range of bikes and accessories. And the folks who work there really seem to know what they are talking about. Their service department is pretty good also. They are pretty fast and efficient. And of the off-chance that something goes wrong, they are excellent about making it right. This is a well run shop, with good management.

PROS: Great selection, knowledge and management
CONS:

On the recommendation of one of my sons friends, we visited Summit City Bikes and were very pleased.

The chain on my sons bike kept coming off, and we couldn't not get it fixed. After talking to the wonderful staff there they were able to tell me how to fix this brand of bike chain.

They sell a huge selection of bikes and accessories. Bike trailers, Car Racks, Tandems and more !!
