Jabos Bar-BeQ

I used to work in Englewood near Jabo's original BBQ stand... a BBQ pit in the church parking lot. Not many knew about it due to its location... but those that did were lined up around the block during lunch time to get some! I'm proud that Jabo was able to get into an actually restaurant location to take his business to the next level. Go Jabo!

As far as the BBQ goes... amazing! The meat is excellent... slow smoked to perfection. But what wins the race in my book is the sauces. There are a ton of different flavors to choose from... as well as different amounts of spice. I personally loved the Jalapeno (the Habenero kicked my butt)! Try some of the fruit-infused flavors as well to create a delicious and different BBQ experience.

And make sure to try to meet Jabo himself... he'll make sure you have a great lunch!

PROS: Amazing sauces... and a huge variety of them! Meat is tender and delicious
CONS: I don't live in Denver anymore to enjoy this excellent BBQ!

It was my pleasure to have lunch at Jabos on Arapahoe road today. The owner took the time to explain his busines when it comes to BBQ, and also gave me a sampler of all his various, on premise, made sauces so he could create what I wanted. The variety of ingredients and heat levels were great. The mango (yeah mango) bbq sauce on the pork was delicious. I highly recommend this place!
