4 Stars: A longtime happy customer (by Toni B.)

I go to Sue's at least once/week. It's great to shop at a little local place where they know me and are friendly. Besides all kinds of produce, they stock bread, dairy, condiments, spices, oils, eggs, fresh herbs -- pretty much anything you'd need to fix a meal except meat (if you eat that). They can't compete for price with Whole Foods, and not much is organic, but then they are a neighborhood store. Crowded at the end of the workday. They recently stopped selling on Sundays.

3 Stars: Good fruit, rising prices (by Stan S.)

True, the produce at Sue's is very fresh and delicious, but I just wanted to warn the shopper about rising prices. I have witnessed the price of blackberries, green bell peppers, strawberries, and bananas all rise, and those are only on the things I've noticed. Although Sue's Produce consistently displays good fruit and veggies, at this rate. they'll be more expensive than Whole Foods in only a few more months. Shop at Sue's while you still can!

1 Stars: Sue's Produce Market (by tyrone r.)

Sue' Produce Market is simply the absolutely best. I had an opportunity shop at Sue's when I was visting Philadelphia in 2007. The produce is fresh and reasonably priced. Every item in the store is healthy and smart. I really really love Sue's Produce Market!

5 Stars: World Class produce store (by H K.)

Despite being a small shop, Sue's Produce provides the best prices on fruits and vegetables in the city. Both the owenr and his wife both work in the shop and are extremely friendly and helpful. Many times when I have been short a few quarters, they have accepted a verbal I.O.U. in leui of payment. You can always count on Sue's for hte lowest prices in fruit throughout the city. I was astounded while visting Rittenhouse Grocer at the $4.99/lb they wanted for fresh, red grapes. At Sue's they were just as fresh, delicious and $1.99/lb. The workers always double bag my large items without asking! I do not shop anywhere else. I have yet to ever purchaes anything from Sue's that I was less than happy with. The owners are always helpful with letting customers know what the best and most delicious fruits in season are.

PROS: Great prices, great service- can't be beat
CONS:

5 Stars: Fresh produce (by S.M. Y.)

Sue's Produce consistenly has fresh produce. Sadly, Center City doesn't have that many places to get fresh produce, but Sue's is one of them (I also recommend Maxx's on 20th and Spruce). The little store has been so popular that they have moved a couple times and renovated the space so that now the store is ever so slightly roomier and with a nice atmosphere. It's in an area with other shops and restaurants, so you can get a few things done while stopping by Sue's Produce.

4 Stars: Best place for produce in center city (by Lisa T.)

Sues produce has great prices and a huge selection. They sell fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh spices. The staff is all extremely friendly and efficient. If you are in center city, Sues is the place to go for fresh ingredients at great prices. I highly recommend Sues.
