I think Dr. Erlich is excellent. He is thorough and patiently takes the time I need to have my questions answered and he follows up regarding treatments and procedures from previous visits. He definitely cares about his patients. In five years or so of seeing him a minimum of two check up visits per year, I have only had to wait long once or twice. I think he is very knowledgeable and experiences and excellent at what he does. He has found and removed dangerous cancerous lesions from my face and other areas and I have never been left with a scar or mark of any kind. If you have a serious time crunch, I suggest asking the receptionist what is the best time to schedule an appt to be seen quickly.

I waited over an hour for my appointment. During the appointment I asked about a red dot on my nose and Dr.Ehrlich told me he could take care of it there and then - great. I asked if my insurance would cover it and he said that depending on what type of treatment we used, they might. I said ok. When I went to go pay my co-pay, I was told that I also needed to pay $85 for the treatment. I told the receptionist that the doctor said it would likely be covered and asked to speak with him. She went to get him but came back and said that he told her it was cosmetic and would not be covered. I've never had a doctor so blatantly mislead me before about the cost of a treatment. I find this outrageous and plan on filing a complaint with the PA Medical Board.

I assume he is competent but at the same time this doctor always overbooks and is not the least bit remorseful about doing so.If you value your time find another dermatologist.

I arrived on time for my appointment recently and counted eight people already in the the tiny waiting area. After 40 minutes passed, one of the other patients who was present the entire time inquired with the receptionist as to how much longer it would take to see Dr. Ehrlich. The patient then responded that he did not have that much time and would have to re-book and then left. After I waited a total of 50 minutes I went up and asked how much longer I had to wait. The receptionist stated that there was still one patient ahead of me. At that point I asked for my medical records so that I could find another doctor and left. Honestly, I don't see how this guy keeps a dedicated clientele when he obviously seriously overbooks patients and keeps them waiting. There are plenty of good dermatologists in the Rittenhouse area and I would recommended another one unless you really enjoy sitting around waiting for an unreasonable amount of time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Erlich's for over ten years which should speak for my confidence is his abilities to deal with my dermatological issues. His evening hours are a convenience for me. The one negative is the usual (but not always) long wait in the waiting room. This, however, does not deter me from using such a highly competent physician.

I arrived early for my appointment and was able to see Dr. Ehrlich before the time of my scheduled appointment. He was professional and through. When he was meeting with me it didn't feel rushed at all and he was pleasant to talk to. Definitely going back to him when I need a dermatologist again.

The entrance is on 19th st, not Rittenhouse.

It took almost 2 months wait to get to see this doctor. On my initial visit to Dr. Ehrlich I found him to over-book patients and leave them stacked up in the waiting room while he met with drug company sale people instead of paying patients. His obvious callous indifference was deplorable. I left and got back my co-pay. Other patients were in line to do the same as I left. There have to be other doctors who care enough to put their patients (read that as CUSTOMERS!!) first. In my experience, he isn't one of them.

I was treated last year by Dr. Ehrlich and I highly recommend him. He was knowledgeable and patient, he took the time to make sure that I was comfortable with my procedure and answer my questions. His office staff is also very helpful and friendly. Overall I had a great experience and will continue to see Dr. Ehrlich in the future.
