It's an up and coming comedy club highly recommended to anyone who's a fan of comedy, live music and cheap entertainment. The owner is a good guy and the staff works to provide quality comedy. Featuring headliners and big names along with local talent and cult favorites. Also be on the look out for deals, and discount events and a good drink selection. On of the corner of belmont and broadway check it out if you get a chance.

Great burlesque show. Not for kids. Very funny and entertaining. Great show for a date. There are other shows at this theater to see. Many placing close by to eat for a reasonable price.

This used be a movie theater, many eons ago. At any rate, the venue is really nice. Clean, good lighting, good acoustics. They've been showing Defending the Caveman for the longest. If you haven't seen it, don't bother. Blech. Androcentric crap with no grasp of history beyond Hollywood's version of history.

Wed nights are open mic for comedy (free for performers and the audience). Right now the performers are hit-and-miss but Chicago is the breeding ground for comedians so I think it'll get better.
