comerica park - detroit tiger stadium

The park personnel are the friendliest in baseball. I found everyone to be very helpful on my last visit. The park has things for those not interested in the game to take advantage of, like the Merry go round and Ferris Wheel.

When we go to a tiger game my children have the time of their lives. They love the excitement and thrill of watching the tigers play. They love the seats where the Tigers practice their pitches and hits, sometimes the playes will sign autographs for the kids. A great family time.

My son really loves the merry-go-round at the park, there are a nice variety of restaurants to choose from also. There have been times that I would just walk around and enjoy all of the other diversions in the park (like the shops and kiddie area), while my husband watched the baseball game. It is a very clean place, and the ushers are pretty helpful. Parking can be a headache--$20 if you park in the structure close by, but there are cheaper places if you want to walk a little.

What a beautiful baseball stadium. There is plenty of open vendor areas with any type of food you want, the wonderful decor, lots and lots of bathrooms, and the water-mister is great. Tickets are reasonably priced, but the price of food and drinks is a different story - I paid $8.50 for one beer, but I guess that's what is expected when heading out to the ball park. Great stadium, a must see!
