The food was okay, on the adult meals the presentation was pretty and the tea was nice but everything was pricey for the small amounts of food. The child's meals were so lacking that I can't believe we paid that much for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. However the worst part was the service, the waitress kept forgetting things even after we kept reminding her, and the food took an extremely long time to arrive. Whenever, we needed things the waitress was no where in sight. Finally we got tired of waiting, and got up to get the check ourselves. Great ambiance, food okay, but poor service.

This was my first time at the" Tea Cottage" and I must say I really enjoyed myself as well as the 28 other women from our church. I was never much on tea I'm a coffee drinker however after this afternoon I've become a tea lover .We all purchased tea for home and our husbands, plus all the different goodies they have on display. A great place to shop might I add.Thank you "Tea cottage" for a wonderful experience. We have decided from now on to return at least once a month for lunch and tea.

I used to love the teacup cottage and would take all of our out of town guest there for lunch! We would always have a great time and couldn't wait to go back. My five year old daughter used to always love it as well. We just took a friend who owns her own tea room in MI, there when she was here for a visit. It was so disappointing! The child's plate was a disaster. Normally the cut the PB&J into 4 triangles to make a butterfly, but this time they didn't cut it at all, just threw it on the plate. The menu states it comes with fresh fruit and every other time we have been, it comes with some type of fruit salad piled high. This time however, the fruit was a very small piece of orange rind with barely an orange in it. I asked the waitress where the fruit was and she went to ask. She came back and said that it only came with one piece and always had. I don't think so. Normally, the pour my daughter's drink in a small child size tea cup, this time they did not. Also, our serever was sooooo rude. She kept forgetting to bring our food/drinks/silverware napkins ect. and then acted like it was our fault. After the meal we ordered desserts. She forgot to bring mine, even though we had a conversation about it when ordering because I had questions about what was in it. I was very nice and when I mentioned that I had not recieved mine (Every one else at the table was waiting to eat) she started arguing with me about why she hadn't brought it out yet. It was very bizarre. I am so sad because it used to be my favorite place to go and I don't plan on retruning again.

Such a nice, quaint, and dainty tea room. The table settings are adorable with a wide variety of teacups that may or may not match the others. It only adds to the charm of this wonderful place. The menu offers delicious items along with a spectacular tea selection. Don't forget to leave room for the yummy desserts!

PROS: Very, very good food
CONS: Occasionally slow service

Teacup Cottage is a must for any tea lover. They have everything from beautiful cups to tea varieties and gift offerings. The store is so much fun to look through. We have a ladies tea every holiday season. The store is right up our alley for the gifts we exchange during the tea. The staff is very nice and parking is sometimes hard in the downtown Acworth area.
